Bassett’s five-spot leads Athol Savings

ATHOL — Athol Savings Bank outlasted Herrick’s Tavern, 7-2, at Silver Lake Park in K-1 Athol Area YMCA youth soccer action on Saturday. 

Bryson Bassett’s five goals paced the offense for the Bankers. 

Maddy Smart found the net in the final quarter for Athol Savings Bank.

Jackson Manjourea also scored for the Bankers.

Herrick’s Tavern got goals from Teagan Chapman and Colt Gallant.

L.S. Starrett Co. 5, Athol Credit Union 4 – Kayden Rodriguez scored three goals, but Starrett had to settle for a tie with the Creditors.

Alonzo White scored for Starrett, with Anabelle Esparza, Isabelle Tarara and Sabrina White adding assists.

For the Creditors, Brady Lichentenburger scored twice with an assists.

Dawson Osborne hits the strings with two goals of his own for Athol Credit Union.


Pete’s Tire Barns 8, Athol Dental 1 – Pete’s found the net often in a win over the Dentists. 

Bernie LeBlanc led the way with three goals and an assist. Timmy Gerry scored twice with an assist.

Also scoring for Pete’s was Alex Hebert, Aydon Davis (assists) and Max Parsons.

Landon Davis had a helper for Pete’s.

For Athol Dental, Bryton Collins scored with Aiden Saviski adding an assist. 

Athol Auto 3, Integrated Vegetation Services 2 – Hayden Chittick, Brady O’Connell and Abby Scoville all scored in the win for Athol Auto.

Chittick added two helpers for Athol Auto.

Scoring two goals for the Vegetables was Raymond Castine. 


Athol-Orange Lions Club 17, Hometown Bank 0 – Lions Club piled on the offense in the win over Hometown. 

Jaxon Koutrakos (six goals) and Travis Thibeault led the charge.

Ian Nutter added a hat trick, with Kason Lyons scoring twice and Nicholas White adding another goal.

Kimball Cooke Insurance 3, Subway 2 –  The Insurers clipped the Sandwiches in the close victory.

Hunter Keuhl scored twice, adding an assist for Kimball Cooke.

Connor Johnson also found the net.

For Subway, Adam Rodriguez scored twice.
