Thursday, April 15

1:23 a.m. – A call of a suspicious person seen in the Eagleville Road area was reported. Based on description follow up, Officers issued BOLO.

3:08 through 6:10 p.m. – Officers issued numerous warnings to operators failing to activate headlights while wipers are going.

11:15 p.m. – Officer checked on welfare of male spotted walking in the West Main Street area. He was dressed in just a T-shirt while it was raining/snowing. Party stated he had just had been in an argument and had been punched in the face. He declined medical attention and to press charges. Officer advised him to call if he needed any further assistance.

Friday, April 16

12:40 a.m. – Lobby walk-in to check to see if missing key had been turned in. She was advised it was not.

12:41 a.m. – East River Street caller requested a welfare check on relative. Family was Facetimed, but no one was there, only TV background noise could be heard. Officers made contact with party, who had been sleeping, but was OK. Family was advised.

1:40 p.m. – Officer assistance requested at East Main Street for possible shoplifting incident. Caller had description of the person and vehicle they drove off in. Party later returned to the store with the caller.

5:02 p.m. – Walk-in to report globe from one of the street lights in front of the Pizza Factory fell off and the post is bent. Highway Department was advised. Upon arrival, a witness stated that the reporting party backed into the pole and a report was taken.

8:46 p.m. – Red Brook Lane caller reported that the slider door on her trailer was smashed when she got home. Officer inspected the scene and determined there was nothing criminal in nature concerning the event. No evidence of an attempted break-in/vandalism was found.

Saturday, April 17

9:05 a.m. – Caller reported young white male, dressed all in black, carrying what appeared to be a shotgun walked past her East River Street building and was headed towards town. Officers checked the area and spoke with reporting party while checking the area.

11:35 a.m. – East Road group home supervisor reported, on behalf of one of the clients, a possible larceny situation in Athol. Athol PD advised them to notify Orange PD as well. Athol PD will follow up on the investigation.

4:28 p.m. – Traffic stop for speeding on S Main Street.

4:37 p.m. – Traffic stop on West River Street for failure to stop at stop sign.

5:00 p.m, – Traffic stop on Whitney Street for expired registration.

10:06 p.m. – Bacon Street caller requested a phone call on how to handle threats made by a person she had staying with her. Officer advised her about her options, including seeking a court order.

10:20 p.m. – Vehicle was stopped for speeding in East Main Street area. Operator was driving on a suspended N.Y. state license. Citation issued.
