Monday, Nov. 192:25 a.m. — Issued three parking tickets, Cheney Street. Barely able to drive cruiser between the vehicles, actively snowing heavily and Orange Highway had been notified.
7:08 a.m. — Alarm, Governor Dukakis Drive, garage entry. Alarm company canceled police.
7:39 a.m. — Motor vehicle accident, Route 202 at Route 122. Responded to two-car accident; no injuries, both vehicles had minor damage. Exchanged information.
8:14 a.m. — East River Street; caller reports someone took $2,000 from his bag on Nov. 3 and believes it was subject known to him. Stated he doesn’t want to get party into trouble, however he wants his money. When asked why he waited so long to report the larceny, the caller states he didn’t want to get him in trouble. Attempts were made to speak with subject. Under investigation.
9:45 a.m — South Main Street caller reports her son took off from Mahar and is wandering around after receiving a text that upset him. Wearing a camo jacket and she is driving around looking for him. Caller was advised to return to the school and an officer would meet her there. At 10:18 student was with mother. Student said he will not return to the school due to an ongoing issue. Officers convinced him to get back to school and transported him there.
10:03 a.m. — Second Street caller states subject stole his truck; same is unregistered.
10:20 a.m. — Officer returned call to Second Street caller who reported stolen vehicle. Party said subject was driven by party without permission and he wants to press charges. During investigation party stated the truck does not belong to reporting party anymore and that he handed party the vehicle key.The truck now belongs to the bank and it is at Ludlow due to an accident.Reporting party said he no longer wishes to press charges nor be investigated.
11:25 a.m. — Stone Valley Road caller states he is in Boston for work and won’t be home for a few weeks, however his car was stolen from the residence yesterday. The vehicle was involved in a rollover yesterday and subsequently abandoned by the operator.
11:30 a.m. — Officer flagged down by a motorist who stated there is a big truck sitting with two cones at the S corner on West River Street. Officer assessed the scene. Truck belonged to Arbor Climb tree company who were working at West River Street. Worker advised to move truck to the driveway if possible. Done.
3:41 p.m. — Caller reporting subject blaring his music and yelling, East River Street. He would like someone to ask him to turn it down of off. Spoken with; music turned down.
4:48 p.m. — Unwanted person, Prospect Street. Caller advises she has three juveniles sledding on her property. They are coming close to her vehicle. She does not want them to cause damage and would like them removed from the property. Officer spoke with three juveniles and will be careful around the car. They were not all that close to it.
6:16 p.m. — Report of two-car accident in front of Jim’s Auto, New Athol Road. No injuries. Report taken.
9:17 p.m. — Traffic stop, West Main Street. Verbal warning for headlamp violation.
11:12 p.m. — Traffic stop, East Main Street. Operator given verbal warning for defective tail light.
