The Greenfield Knights of Columbus will host its annual Hoop Shoot this Saturday, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Greenfield YMCA. Registration will get underway at 2:30. 

The Hoop Shoot is open to all boys and girls ages 9-13 in Franklin County. The winner in each age group moves onto the next round, which will also be at the Greenfield YMCA in February.

Suburban basketball

Conner Bergeron dropped 26 points to lift the Greenfield 5/6 Suburban League boys basketball team to a 46-29 win over Southwick Monday. 

Casey Burke scored seven points, Messiah Maysonet and Xaviay Reynolds each chipped in four points and Mahir Patel added two points in the victory.
