Tuesday, Nov. 30

3:15 p.m. – Pequoig Avenue caller reported there are people surveying the neighbor’s property and they are constantly trespassing on his property. Police spoke to homeowner, who was advised to call back when the male returns and is on the property. A voicemail was also left for the male party in question about the issue.

4:29 p.m. – Child into the police station lobby to report a deceased pigeon in front of the Newspaper building. ACO (Animal Control Officer) advised.

4:30 p.m. – Sanders Street area resident into the police lobby clarified that the male party has had his blue Subaru (which had been reported as stolen) for over a month, and he isn’t giving it back and has stopped answering his phone. Reporting party is now reporting the motor vehicle as stolen. Vehicle was located by police in Clinton.

5:19 p.m. – Main Street caller reported a suspicious person, someone claiming to be the general manager, that wanted to have her take all the money out of the safe, then he will send an Uber to bring her to Western Union to wire the money.

9:45 p.m. – Pinedale Avenue caller reported a suspicious vehicle in his driveway and was not expecting anyone to be there. Reporting party provided a description of the vehicle, and stated the headlights were on and the vehicle was still running. Operator transported to the hospital, and police stayed on scene to attend to the vehicle.

Wednesday, Dec. 1

5:40 a.m. – Chestnut Hill Avenue caller reported an abandoned white Honda CRV unlocked, with no plates left by the retaining wall before gate. Camera footage shows male party park it and leave.

7:17 a.m. – Concord Street caller reported her rear license plate had been stolen the previous night. Report filed and investigated.

9:18 a.m. – Lobby walk-in to request police assistance/welfare check about suicidal text messages received from her brother, who is homeless. Police were able to locate the individual, and they were transported to the hospital.

1:04 p.m. – Templeton Road traffic stop resulted in vehicle being towed and operator cited for unlicensed operator, expired registration.

3:20 p.m. – South Main Street caller reported that the “porch pirates” were striking again, and that three packages were taken off her porch. Reporting party did not know who they were from, but that they went missing the previous day.

3:40 p.m. – Orange Fire Department reported one of their vehicles (ambulance) had been in a hit-and-run incident, no injuries, but mirrors were damaged and other party had left the scene. Police located the subject and police issued them a citation.

3:54 p.m. – Lobby walk-in to file a missing person report that her boyfriend had not been seen or heard from since the previous day. Subject left in her vehicle at 3:11 p.m. Nov. 30 and reporting party had last from the subject via text around 7 p.m. that day stating they were lost in Amherst. Missing person report filed in NCIC.

5:57 p.m. – Pleasant Street caller reported that there had been a tow truck that appeared to be trying to take her friend’s vehicle that was parked out front. When the driver was confronted, he left. Police checked the area, negative contact.

Thursday, Dec. 2

10:48 a.m. – Spring Street landlord contacted Police about a note tenant had left about vacating the premises Dec. 1. Reporting party then called back at 11:19 a.m. and report things stolen from the property and some things appeared to be broken.

1:27 p.m. – Lobby walk-in reported that he had been bitten by a dog that morning. Police took the initial report and ACO (Animal Control Officer) to handle.
