12:19 p.m. — Patrol checked abandoned vehicle, Chestnut Hill Avenue. Vehicle had note that read “calling AAA, please don’t tow” with a phone number. Vehicle was not causing safety hazard.
12:25 p.m. — Animal complaint; brown SUV with dog inside, all windows closed, AC on; Tower Road. Animal Control advised person it’s still not safe in case of engine failure.

2:23 p.m. — Female in lobby looking for assistance for a package taken from her former residence when it was delivered, Marble Street.

2:45 p.m. — Disturbance, South main Street. CAller reports white male wearing white shirt and jeans causing a disturbance inside restaurant. Checked operator’s ability to operate vehicle; no signs of impairment. Sent on way.
3:21 p.m. — Motor vehicle complaint, Burma Road. Caller states male driving blue Tundra is pulling into driveway, leaving, drinking a beer. Caller also stated male threw a beer can at her mailbox. Arrested on Pinedale Road Charles E. Dunn Jr., 56, of 770 Wendell Road, Warwick, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of motor vehicle and littering from a motor vehicle. Bail set at $40.
4:16 p.m. — Assisted citizen, Marble Street. Dialed 911 after refusing to wait in lobby for assistance. Continuously called 911 when officers are on other calls; no need to keep abusing the system. No package found.
6:16 p.m. — Mental health call; Chestnut Hill Avenue; call from state for suicidal male. Royalston Police called for assistance as male left residence prior to police arrival. Located male riding bike near Tully Dam in Royalston; brought to hospital under Section 12.
8:29 p.m. — Motor vehicle complaint, Marble Street. Officer requesting assistance with erratic vehicle.
8:39 p.m. — Motor vehicle complaint, Green Street. Caller states Silvery Toyota is camping illegally at end of street. Vehicle gone on arrival.
8:44 p.m. — Welfare check, Main and Spring streets. Caller states man driving motorized wheelchair is intoxicated; driving in roadway on wrong side of road. Party sent on way and advised not to operate his chair in the roadway.

Saturday, July 77:47 a.m. — Chase Road caller asked to speak with officer about unwanted individual on her property yesterday. Advised to serve person with no trespass order.8:10 a.m. — Caller reporting a silver Volkswagen at the end of Ole Keene Road road with two people sleeping inside. Not sleeping when officer arrived; cleaning out car. They were advised they cannot sleep there. They said they would be on their way.
8:15 a.m. — E-911 caller requests ambulance for unattended death, North Orange Road.
10:08 a.m — Investigated report of animal abuse, Highland Avenue.
10:36 a.m. — Animal complaint, Sanders Street. Officer attempting to capture bat loose in house.
3:57 p.m. — Report of disturbance between male and female inside automobile, Pequoig Avenue. Located subject walking up Lenox Street. Male party stated he was in a verbal argument with his girlfriend and had taken off to avoid her. Sent on way.

5:24 p.m. — Welfare check, Shore Drive. Crisis service requests check on male that they feel is very intoxicated. Officer requested ambulance.

10:16 p.m. — Welfare check, Main and Green streets. Report of man sleeping on sidewalk. Jose A. Torres, 47, 648 Pleasant St., placed into protective custody.
10:28 p.m. — Wallingford Avenue caller reports disturbance; neighbors fighting. Officer spoke with subject who stated she was arguing with boyfriend on the phone and all was well.
