Friday, July 5

3:54 p.m. — Intervale Avenue caller reporting a gray bus parked in his driveway and he is not sure why. The bus has not moved and he does not know where the driver is. Owner found; vehicle moved.

5:02 p.m. — Main Street caller reporting someone pulled into the ATM the wrong way and parked. States people have to back out after using the ATM. Car described as silver sedan.

5:46 p.m. — Caller reports he was driving and lost his wheel, Main and Liberty streets. States his wheel did not hit anything and he needs a tow truck. Dale’s en route.

6:23 p.m. — Central Street caller would like to speak with officer about threats made to her vehicles and property.

7:57 p.m. — Report of house being egged, Park Street.

8:29 p.m. — Disabled motor vehicle, Doe Valley Road.

8:33 p.m. — Officers off with suspicious vehicle, Silver Lake Beach.

8:59 p.m. — Officers out with fireworks, Maple Street.

9:03 p.m. — McGregor Street, officer responding for fireworks complaint.

11:26 p.m. — Subject in station to report a person laying next to a bicycle and looks disoriented, South Main Street. Unable to locate male subject.

Saturday, July 6

12:36 a.m. — Caller reporting suspicious person in the doorway, Exchange Street. Officer requested ambulance for an individual who is intoxicated; transported to Athol Hospital.

2:11 a.m. — E-911 caller reporting someone is smashing his vehicle in his yard, South Athol Road. Officer requested ambulance for an individual.

2:54 a.m. — South Athol Road; officer requesting an ambulance for an individual who was injured in an altercation.

7:01 a.m. — Ambulance to Daniel Shays Highway for 66-year-old with confusion and a 102 temperature.

7:19 a.m. — Animal complaint, Orange Street. Barking dogs; ongoing issue. Called back to say the dogs stopped barking.

7:40 a.m. — Orange Street caller states neighbor’s dogs are barking again. Dogs were barking upon arrival, owner advised of complaint and dogs were brought in.

9:07 a.m — Animal complaint, Main Street; dog in car with windows cracked.

11:10 a.m. — Walk-in requested assistance to pick up his camper from a house that he was involved in a disturbance last night, South Athol Road. Assisted.

12:44 p.m. — Caller reporting a male who is highly intoxicated has already fallen once, Exchange Street. Officer transported party home, but no one was home. Male transported to Athol Hospital without incident.

3:26 p.m. — Report of branch down on a wire, Ridge Road. Tree department on scene.

3:37 p.m. — Caller reporting the lights past Market Basket are out, Templeton Road. MassDOT contacted and will send someone out as soon as possible.

3:43 p.m. — Report of small tree down, South Athol Road. Tree Department notified.

4:31 p.m. — Brookside Road and South Main Street, lights flashing yellow and red. MassDOT contacted.

4:55 p.m. — Motor vehicle accident, Brookside Road. Vehicle unoccupied at time of the crash.

5:06 p.m. — Suspicious vehicle, Partridgeville Road at Daniel Shays which has been there for a couple weeks. Vehicle towed.

6:56 p.m. — Fireworks complaint, Ward Street and Chestnut Hill Avenue.

8:04 p.m. — Brattle Street, noise fireworks complaint. Party states he still hears explosions going off next to his residence.

8:13 p.m. — South Main Street party in lobby about missing car title. Advised party to try for salvage title or contact original seller and pay him RMV fee to apply for another title. Party advises town is coming down on him about having the car unregistered so he is trying to fix it. States someone may have stolen the title but is unwilling to go further at this time.

8:36 p.m. — Noise complaint, Pierce Street at Wellington; fireworks.

9:06 p.m. — Suspicious activity, Unity Avenue, Officer observed fireworks going off from this location. Spoke with party goers and homeowners who advised they were done for the night.

10 p.m. — Orange Police Department requesting assistance with an unruly patient being transported to the hospital. Would like to be met at the hospital.

10:31 p.m. — Multiple callers reporting fireworks in the area, Wellington Street. Unable to locate.

10:42 p.m. — Emergency room calling for officer’s assistance with an out of control patient. Assisted.
