Dried flower kitchen swag workshop at Athol Public Library

ATHOL — Rachel Gonzalez will lead a workshop on how to make a garlic, herbal, and dried flower kitchen swag, on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Athol Public Library, 568 Main St.

In this workshop, held in the program room, attendees will learn to arrange a kitchen swag to be used for cooking or for hanging on any wall in the house.

Gonzalez, of Rachel's Everlastings, lives in Orange and grows many flowers for fresh and dried use.

The workshop is free and open to the public. It is limited to 20 participants and registration is required by calling 978-249-9515.

Participants are asked to bring their own set of clippers or pruning shears. All other materials will be provided.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Athol Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
