Monday, Nov. 25

11-11:30 a.m. — YMCA Nursery School Story Time at the Athol Public Library, large program room.

3:30-4:30 p.m. — LEGO Club, in the large program room at Athol Public Library. Unstructured play for grades 1 and up. All LEGOs supplied but the library appreciates donations. Info: 978-249-9515.

6-8 p.m. — Wreath-making class with Kay Leonard, at the New Salem Library, 23 South Main St., New Salem. Call the library for further instructions, 978-544-6334.

7 p.m. — Quabbin Valley Pro Musica rehearsal, Central Congregational Church, 24 South Main St., New Salem. Open to those interested in joining a four-part (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) chorus, under the direction of Geoffrey Hudson. For more information, contact Harry Haldt at 978-249-4691.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

10-11:30 a.m. — Playgroup. Caregivers and children, ages birth to 5 years old, are welcome to meet in the Children’s library to socialize and play, Athol Public Library.

1-2 p.m. Tech Help Tuesdays, at the Athol Public Library. Have a question about your phone, tablet, or apps, etc? Ask the experts. Free, and open to the public. Walk-in, no registration required. 

4-7:30 p.m. — Story Walk® sponsored by Valuing Our Children. Sign boards with pages from books on them are set up along Millers River Park for participants to read at their own pace. Afterward, participants can do a fun activity in the Children's Library. No registration. All ages can participate.

5-7 p.m. — Mild Knights Chess Club. Challenge an experienced player or learn to play. Ages 18 and up. Free and open to players of all skill levels.

5:30-7 p.m. — The Big Read! At the Athol Public Library, large program room, conference room, patio, lobby and children’s library. Info: 978-249-9515.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

10:15-11 a.m. — Preschool story time at Athol Public Library. Read, move, socialize and sing. No registration required.

2-4 p.m. — Knit-Wits, in the conference room at Athol Public Library. Interested in knitting, crocheting, needlework? Join the weekly drop-in meeting with Jean White. No registration required. Materials provided or bring your own. Info: 978-249-9515.
