Orange Santa Fund: $1,880

ORANGE — Santa’s workshop has been very busy as of late. And the elves are counting down the days ‘til delivery. People from near and far have also been helping the Orange Santa Fund prepare for the season. The first donations of the year have been coming in and so far have totaled $1,880.  

Contributions have come from; Orange United Methodist Church $25, Beth Martin $200, Pete’s Tire $500, Splash and Sunshine $25, Kathy Chaffee $100, Nancy Carr in memory of Loved Ones $20, Roger Allen $60, Franklin Parmenter $25, North Quabbin Cruisers $300, Anne Lozier in memory of Maggie and Snoopy $25, AARP Local Mt Grace Chapter #3673 $75, Tully City Council Club $100, Witty’s Funeral Home $300, in memory of Helen R. Hamlett $100, and June Lawson $25.

Donations (checks) can be mailed to: Orange Santa Fund, PO Box 193, Orange MA 01364.

The fund provides for children up to age 13. Those who are in need, or know of a family in need, can send in the following information to P.O. Box 193: family name, age and gender of children, and a phone number where you can be reached. The Orange Elementary Schools also have signup sheets. If your child attends an Orange school, you can request one to be sent home.

The last day to sign up will be Dec. 10 and delivery will be Dec. 16 between 9-11 a.m. An adult needs to be home for delivery and bags will not be left outside.
