Democrats open office in Orange

ORANGE  — The Second Franklin and North Quabbin Regional Democratic Office is now open at 13 South Main St. in Orange.

Volunteers recently prepared this space to provide area volunteers, for all Democrat campaigns, with a common regional office/work space.

The office will be open:

<sbull value="sbull"><text xmlns="urn:schemas-teradp-com:gn4tera"></text></sbull>Wednesdays, Oct. 10,  Oct. 17, Oct. 24 and Oct. 31, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.;

<sbull value="sbull"><text xmlns="urn:schemas-teradp-com:gn4tera"></text></sbull>Saturdays, Oct. 13,  Oct. 20, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, from 9:30-11:30 a.m.;

■Monday, Nov. 5, 9:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.;

■Tuesday, Election Day, Nov. 6, 7 a.m.-10 p.m.

At the office, one can obtain additional information, volunteer to help, request signs and bumper stickers and request a ride to the polls by calling Wanda Davis, Athol Democratic Town Committee treasurer, at 978-577-7875 or Denise Andrews at 513-780-0538 or by stopping in during the open office hours.

All ages and residents from all towns and cities are welcome to volunteer.

Teachers who would like to bring a class on a field trip may call and schedule a visit.

The office will host a potluck “Watch Election Returns Gathering,” on Election Day at 7 p.m.

Oct. 17 is the last day to register to vote for the Nov. 6 election. Registration can be done online at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/ or with town clerks.

Also, absentee voting is an option. Be sure to allow time to get the ballot in the mail and returned in time to be counted. Contact your town clerk for details.

Athol, Belchertown (Precinct A), Erving, Gill, New Salem, Orange, Petersham, Phillipston, Royalston, Templeton, Warwick, and Wendell make up the 2nd Franklin State Representative District. Athol, Erving, New Salem, Orange, Petersham, Phillipston, Warwick, Wendell and Royalston towns make up the North Quabbin Area.
