Athol Police Log: Feb. 6-8

Thursday, Feb. 6

3 p.m. — Male party called and stated that there is a vacant silver BMW parked in his driveway, Perry Road.

4:17 p.m. — 911 caller requesting an ambulance for a 24-year-old female that passed out, Concord Street. Reporting party stated that she had a miscarriage yesterday. Female party in and out of consciousness. Assisted with equipment.

4:24 p.m. — 911 caller requesting an ambulance for a 92-year-old female who fell and has been down for about four hours, Harvard Avenue.

7:20 p.m. — 911 caller stating her fire alarms are going off and she doesn’t know why, Earl Drive. She was advised to stay outside. Female hung up. Attempted to call back, the line is busy. Faulty detector.

7:38 p.m. — 911 caller stated that she was driving up the street and saw a male party walking in the middle of the road, Hapgood Street. Officer unable to locate.

7:42 p.m. — Approached by staff requesting assistance with two male parties, Main Street. Both parties already outside. Advised of school policy and advised to bring items off property. No further issues, parties sent on way.

10:24 p.m. — Caller reporting a suspicious person walking up and down his street playing loud music, Prospect Street. Music was coming from a car. They were advised to turn it down.

10:31 p.m. — Male party in the lobby looking to speak with an officer, Exchange Street. Officer requesting an ambulance for a mental health evaluation.

10:36 p.m. — Caller stating that the music was turned back up as soon as the police cleared the area after the first call, Prospect Street. No music was playing upon arrival.

11:28 p.m. — 911 call for a 16-year-old male possible overdose on pills, Park Street. Assisted FD.

Friday, Feb. 7

4:39 p.m. — 911 call for a 15-month-old female that had a seizure, High Knob Road. She is currently breathing and has stopped shaking.

5:37 p.m. — Engine 4 enroute for a reported large bonfire, Pond Street. They were advised of the rules.

8:35 p.m. — Caller states his neighbor threatened to fight him and smash his electric car, Park Street. Spoke with reporting party and advised of HARPO through court.

9:57 p.m. — Served 209A in hand, Orange Street. Officer transported party to station to wait for his ride.

11:05 p.m. — Officer out for alarms sounding, Exchange Street. Gained entry and was able to secure the property.

11:09 p.m. — Officer transporting male party to friend’s house, Ridge Avenue.

Saturday, Feb. 8

12:04 a.m. — Female party reporting two parties and two vehicles outside her residence banging on her windows and then they took off down the road, Petersham Road. Officer checked the area, negative contact with the motor vehicle.

12:35 a.m. — Female asking for an officer to pick up her son from girlfriend’s house and bring him home, Cottage Street. She doesn’t get along with the girlfriend’s mother. Transported juvenile home to his mother.

4:30 a.m. — Officer observed vehicle that another officer spoke of that is speeding through the neighborhood, Daniel Shays Highway. Officer made contact with the operator who acknowledged the fact that someone yelled to him too slow. Party stated he did not believe he was going that fast and he will pay better attention. Party was advised that APD may be back in touch for further investigation.

4:03 p.m. — Caller reports he hasn’t spoken to his son in over a month, Roosevelt Avenue. Advised to come to the station to fill out a missing person’s report.

5:58 p.m. — 911 caller reporting a one car motor vehicle accident with injury, Daniel Shays Highway and Brookside Road. Transported party to Athol Hospital.

6:07 p.m. — Caller states he sees a party outside a business and believes he is selling drugs, Main Street. Gone on arrival.

6:18 p.m. — Caller reporting a male party dressed all in dark clothing walking in the roadway, Templeton Road and Market Drive. Officer advised he just saw the male party, he is walking in the road because the sidewalks are not plowed.

6:43 p.m. — Female party locked out of her house with the dog inside, Lenox Street. FD en route. Requested PD.

6:53 p.m. — Caller states female party slapped his girlfriend multiple times, Main Street. Both parties are separated. Officer spoke with reporting parties and advised them of their options at Orange District Court for simple assault.

6:59 p.m. — 911 caller requesting an ambulance, Templeton Road. Party states he is intoxicated and his feet hurt from walking. Heavy breathing and unable to communicate properly. Located behind store and transported to Athol Hospital.

7:52 p.m. — Caller reporting a female staggering in the area, Crescent and Main streets.

7:56 p.m. — 17-year-old juvenile arrested on a warrant, Euclid Street. Placed into custody, booked and transported to juvenile detention center.

10:06 p.m. — 911 call for an 11-month-old child possibly having a seizure, Tremont Street. Assisted AFD.
