Orange Veterans Day ceremony will begin with parade on Sunday

ORANGE — American Legion Post 172 Commander John E. Laughton announced the Veterans Day Ceremony will be held Sunday, Nov. 11

The program will begin with a parade, starting at 11 a.m. Marchers will gather at the Orange Post Office and proceed over the river to the Central Square, turn onto East Main Street, turn on Water Street across from Cumberland Farms, proceed to Memorial-Veteran’s park and assemble there for the main program.

Cmdr. Laughton will speak.

Members of the American Legion firing squad will be in attendance and “Taps” will be played to end the ceremony.
