Athol Daily News Santa Fund at $8,310.75
ATHOL — With Christmas fast approaching, the Athol Daily News Santa Fund is continuing to collect donations to benefit local children this holiday season. Today’s contributions total $1,100.00, and bring the running total to $8,310.75 on a goal of $13,500.

Donation forms, found in the Daily News each day throughout the giving season, may be clipped and dropped off in the business office Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or mail checks or money orders to: Athol Daily News Santa Fund, P.O. Box 1000, Athol, MA 01331. New this year is the gofundme donation option located on the atholdailynews.com homepage. Make a donation, see who else is donating to the Athol Daily News Santa Fund, and subscribe to receive automatic updates. Donations of any denomination are appreciated. Every cent donated benefits the children in the area.
And just recently a local person, who wished to remain anonymous, announced he will make a personal donation to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans in the amount of 10 percent of the final tally collected by the Athol Santa Fund.
