Robert F. Goyette
MARYDEL, Del. — Robert Francis Goyette, of Marydel, Del., passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017.
He was 87 years old.
Robert was born on June 20, 1929, in Orange, Mass., to the late Margaret Richards and Mitchell O. Goyette.
Mr. Goyette was a member of the United States Armed Forces, and served during the Korean War. He lived in Orange and worked with General Foods and later Phillip Morris and Kraft. Robert worked for General Foods for 37 years, following the company to Delaware with his wife and children in tow. He enjoyed sports especially the Yankees, Celtics, and Patriots. Mr. Goyette played hockey, baseball, softball, golf and billiards.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Helen Fisk Goyette; his son, Michael R. Goyette, of Spring Hill, Fla.; daughters, Pamela Revello, of New Port Richey, Fla., Karen Goyette-Sammons, of Safety Harbor, Fla., and Diane Goyette-Metsch of Dover, Del. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Taunya, Tasha, Kristen, Brittany, Stephany, Andrew and Grace; and eight great grandchildren, Alexa, Sofia, Dominick, Kaya, Jordan, Lillian, Willow, and the soon to be born, Braeleigh.
A celebration of life will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., Friday. April 21, at the Wyoming United Methodist Church in Camden-Wyoming. Interment will be held at a later date.
