7:05 a.m. - Traffic stop for no inspection (rejected past 60 days) and no seat belt, East Main Street. Operator issued verbal warning.

8:18 a.m. - Traffic stop for no inspection (7-day rule), East Main Street. Operator issued verbal warning. 

9:02 a.m. - Traffic stop for expired inspection, West River Street. Operator issued verbal warning. 

9:28 a.m. - Traffic stop for illegal left turn out of Walmart parking lot, East Main Street. Written warning issued.

9:37 a.m. - Traffic stop for illegal left turn out of Walmart parking lot, East Main Street. Written warning issued.

12:55 p.m. - Walk-in would like it logged that two weeks ago subject threw bologna at her car, East Road. 

1:30 p.m. - Report of male subject behind building, West Main Street. Located property owner, property being cleaned up. 

2:05 p.m. - Loose dog, South Main Street. During response, call came in that dog was now over on West River Street, Area checked with negative contact.

4:42 p.m. - Athol police attempting to serve restraining order (209A), and have information that subject may be in Orange, Gibbs Court. Address checked with negative contact. 

4:45 p.m. - Caller reports possible restraining order violation (209A), East River Street. Under investigation. 

5:50 p.m. - Report of yelling in area, Center and Evergreen drives. Area checked, all quiet. 

10:59 p.m. - 911 hangup,  North Main Street. On call back, caller said he and subject had verbal argument and she has since left on foot. Upon arrival spoke with caller and searched the area for subject with negative results. 


3:05 a.m. - Caller reports people loading property into a blue pickup truck, caller feels this is suspicious as it is believed an elderly female lives there alone, Cottage Street. Upon arrival truck was located parked in the driveway of the house. No property seen in back of truck, engine was cold, lights off in house. 

7:35 a.m. - Motor vehicle lockout, South Main Street. Entry gained. 

9:30 a.m. - Walk-in reports her debit card was stolen and money was taken from the account, East Main Street. Investigation initiated.

10 a.m. - Caller states he spoke with Clinical and Support Options employee who told him his wife was safe in a facility but would not say where. Wanted to advise offices who were looking for her to make sure she was safe, East River Street. Confirmed with CSO employee. 

10:30 a.m. - Caller reports computer stolen from residence, Center Drive. Incident under investigation. 

2:20 p.m. - Walmart employee reports altercation between three people at the registers. Asset protection was trying to interview and it wasn’t going well, East Main Street. On arrival, all parties were outside and the ones who instigated the incident had left. It was found to be a verbal incident and no damage to store done. Remaining parties sent on their way. 

3:29 p.m. - CSO sending over section 12 paperwork, East Main Street. Both units responded and subject was transported to hospital by Orange Fire ambulance.

4 p.m. - Traffic stop for failing to inspect vehicle, East Main Street. Operator’s license found to be suspended. Summons applied for on charges of failure to inspect vehicle and operating with suspended license. 

4:04 p.m. - Caller states she received counterfeit $20 bill from Workers’ Credit Union drive-through. Brought it into bank and they accused her of passing the bad money. She spoke with manager and told them to view the tape which they had not yet done. Caller wanted it on record. 

4:30 p.m. - Summons served, Sandrah Drive.

4:44 p.m. - Summons served, Winter Street. 

5:08 p.m. - Report of female yelling in the area, East River Street. Officer unable to locate. Spoke with airport employee who did not hear anything either. 

5:36 p.m. - Man reports his 15-year-old daughter keeps leaving home, West Main Street. Daughter later returned home.

6:55 p.m. - Tenant moving out of residence and having issues with landlord/relative, West River Street. Caller advised of keeping the peace if a few items were picked up or hiring an officer if lengthy time frame would be needed. Also advised to seek relief at Orange District Court for money or property issues. 

8:08 p.m. - Caller reports illegal dumping, Moss Brook Road. Investigation being conducted. 

9:15 p.m. - Party, in regards to bulletin from Erving police for subject, requests check on a daughter of subject, Walnut Hill Road. Both officers responded and found no answer at door, no cars in garage or yard. 

11:41 p.m. - Traffic stop for defective exhaust, New Athol Road. Operator issued verbal warning. 

11:45 a.m. - Officer observed vehicle traveling west with a flat tire, East Main Street. Wellbeing check conducted and determined driver was trying to get to work on time to avoid being written up. Vehicle parked in nearby lot and officer gave him courtesy transport to work. 


12:04 a.m. - Traffic stop for expired inspection sticker, South Main Street. Operator issued verbal warning. 

1:02 a.m. - Traffic stop for no inspection sticker (7-day rule), East Main Street. Operator issued verbal warning. 

2:04 a.m. - Traffic stop for speeding and move over law, East Main Street. Operator issued verbal warning. 

2:45 a.m. - Walk-in issued statement for incident that occurred last weekend. 

3:24 a.m. - Traffic stop for defective tail light, New Athol Road. Discovered operator was 16-year-old driver with a learner’s permit operating without a parent. Operator issued criminal citation for unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, operating between midnight and 5 a.m. and without a parent, and a light violation.
