7:30 a.m. - 911 caller reports male, 53, having chest pains, Shore Drive. Assisted Athol Fire Department. Party taken to Athol Hospital.
9:55 a.m. - Walk-in reports female at Cumberland Farms stated she did not know what town she was in and was trying to get to Quincy. Spoke to party who stated she was getting a ride to Fitchburg. No issues.
11:04 a.m. - Life Flight and Shelburne Control report Life Flight will be landing at AH. Assisted AFD.
11:09 a.m. - Traffic stop, Main and Central streets.
11:18 a.m. - Traffic stop, Petersham Road.
11:25 a.m. - Traffic stop, Main Street.
11:30 a.m. - Caller reports male party threatened to damage her vehicle when she was trying to get property back from him, Concord Street. Male party gone on arrival. Spoke to his girlfriend who stated there has not been any conflict and caller was just trying to get into her personal life. Advised of option for harassment prevention order (HPO), if something is occurring and issues continue.
12:05 p.m. - Stood by while ATM was serviced, Exchange Street.
12:06 p.m. - Traffic stop, Hapgood and Cottage streets. Citation issued.
12:44 p.m. - Walk-in reports she drove by and witnessed people fighting in the road, Traverse Street. One subject appeared to be intoxicated and was last seen going into bar. Other subjects took off. Spoke to first subject who stated he was all set and did not want to press charges. He stated there had been an argument over cigarettes.
12:49 p.m. - Traffic stop, Cottage Street. Citation issued.
1:01 p.m. - Disabled vehicle, School and Main streets.
1:19 p.m. - Traffic stop, Daniel Shays Highway and Froman Street.
1:34 p.m. - Traffic stop, Daniel Shays Highway.
1:39 p.m. - Traffic stop, White Pond Road.
1:44 p.m. - State’s Department of Children and Families sent fax requesting administrative message be sent to Myrtle Beach, S.C., to request welfare check on family. Message sent. DCF advised.
1:49 p.m. - 911 caller reports male, 40, with flu like symptoms and possible diabetic issue, School Street. AFD responded. Party taken to AH.
1:54 p.m. - Caller reports someone sitting under awning who looks frozen, Silver Lake Beach. Party all set and waiting for ride.
2:10 p.m. - Traffic stop, Pleasant and Kelton streets. Warning for speeding.
2:12 p.m. - Traffic stop, Pleasant and Kelton streets. Stopped due to record check showing expired registration. Vehicle now showing active.
2:23 p.m. - 911 caller requests ambulance for female, 67, who is having trouble walking due to knee pain, Prospect Street. AFD responded. Party taken to AH.
2:31 p.m. - Traffic stop, Pleasant Street and Dorset Road.
11:25 p.m. - Caller reports her mother and son-in-law are fighting with each other, possibly physical, Craigin Street.
Today, Dec. 29
12:22 a.m. - House check, White Pond Road.
12:34 a.m. - House check, Franklin Street.
12:47 a.m. - House check, Old Keene Road.
12:49 a.m. - Officer found car with door open; checked car and house, Hill Street. Owner changing flat tire forgot to secure vehicle. Secured by owner.
2:52 a.m. - Ticket issued for overnight, on-street winter parking ban violation.
4:11 a.m. - AFD responded to call of fire alarms sounding; no smoke or fire, Main Street. Nothing showing. Property holder would not return call and AFD had to cut the lock to the alarm box. Alarms silenced and re-set. Officer assisted AFD.
5:19 a.m. - Fire alarms, Main Street. Officer assisted AFD. No fire. Faulty alarms.
6:36 a.m. - Caller reports box truck being driven too fast, Main and Exchange streets. Unable to locate.
