Marguerite N. Duguay
ATHOL — Marguerite Natha Duguay, 91, of Athol, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.
She was born in Athol, on Nov. 6, 1924, the daughter of Hyacinthe and the late Anna (Savoie) Duguay.
She grew up in Athol and attended Athol schools. She worked as a stitcher at the former McElwin Shoe factory. She was the eldest of six girls. She was passionate about flowers and was an avid flower gardener. She enjoyed bird watching.
She is survived by four sisters, Jeanette Capone, Edna Mallett and Marie Songer, all of Athol, and Laurenda Holmes of Orange; three brothers, Edward Duguay of Athol, John Duguay of Greenfield and Nelson Duguay of Athol; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Wilbert, Leonard, and Richard Duguay, and her sister, Laura Duguay.
Funeral services are private.
