5:11 p.m. – Assist citizen, Crescent Street. Picked up male at ER, bringing him to dog pound to pick up dog ACO took earlier and heading to residence. Party was sectioned.

5:37 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, South Street. Warning for stop sign violation.

5:45 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Hapgood Street. Verbal warning for stop sign violation.

6:19 p.m. – Motor vehicle crash, New Athol Road. Report of a motor vehicle accident while parked shopping in store.

6:25 p.m. – Welfare check, Main Street. Caller reports male passed out behind gazebo and bush. Waiting for a ride.

8:43 p.m. – Walk-in. Found property, wallet found in Tully area.

9:21 p.m. – Suspicious activity, Maple Street. Caller reports suspicious people in the park. Second caller reports a female is threatening kids with a bat. Verbal argument only.

9:43 p.m. – Suspicious activity, Silver Lake Park. Spoke to two parties that were parked at Silver Lake. Parties were sent on way.

10:28 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, South and Exchange streets. Warning for no headlights.

10:33 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Main and South Main streets. Warning for no tail lights.

10:38 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Warning for defective tail light.

10:56 p.m. – Disturbance, Cottage Street. Caller states the neighbors are playing loud music that is shaking her house and they are having a party. She would like the police to come and quiet them down.

Sunday, May 6

12:06 a.m. – Welfare check, Brookside Road. Caller stating there is a girl who has fallen asleep several times in McDonald’s and now that they are closing and kicked her out, she is sleeping in front of McDonald’s. Same female party from earlier shift. Still waiting for ride to arrive.

12:31 a.m. – House checks, Pinedale Avenue. No problems found.

12:55 a.m. – House checks, North Orange Road. No problems found.

1:24 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Warning for defective headlight.

1:33 a.m. – House checks, Newton Street. No problems found.

2:29 a.m. – Suspicious activity, Summer Street. Caller stating there was possible illicit activity as well as people partying at this location. Several subjects outside by a small fire. No sign of illicit activity.

5:38 a.m. – Assist citizen, South Street. Caller would like to report an item of his as stolen. Secured items pertaining to investigation.

6:58 a.m. – Alarm, Main Street. Report of an alarm sounding in the area. Reports unsecured door, made entry and checking the building. Key holder contacted, on scene. Door secured.

7:30 a.m. – Suspicious activity, South Street. Caller requesting two letters be picked up for evidence as they were tampered with by the FBI. Officer took possession of paperwork.

9:35 a.m. – Assist citizen, South Main Street. Caller wanting to speak with an officer for advice. Party was spoken to and advised to contact the court regarding a stay away order.

10:00 a.m. – Motor vehicle crash, New Athol Road. Multiple calls for a motor vehicle accident in the road with airbag deployment. OFD also responding with a third ambulance to the scene. A vehicle operated by Mark Peter Watson was traveling east on South Main St. when a vehicle operated by Lydia K. Vaughan pulled out from the Hannaford Plaza. A crash between the two vehicles took place resulting in both vehicles being towed from the scene. Two people were transported to the hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries.

10:12 a.m. – Threat, Congress Street. Party calling to report a vehicle that keeps speeding down her road. Today the operator threatened her husband as well. Told the reporting party there would be increased patrols in the area. Explained that if her husband feels in danger to go to the court and apply for a harassment order.

11:05 a.m. – Suspicious activity, South Street. Caller requesting police confiscate a computer and copier from his house and store them for evidentiary purposes. Attempted to call party, voicemail left.

11:39 a.m. – Assist citizen, Hapgood Street. Homeowner reporting she let her friend move in with her and now would like her removed. Party states her friend’s 17-year- old daughter is currently at the house and she would like an officer to remove her so she can change the locks. Explained to the reporting party that they need to go to court and start the eviction process.

11:49 a.m. – Motor vehicle crash, South Main Street. Report of a minor motor vehicle accident in the drive thru. A vehicle operated by Miranda Jefferson slightly bumped the rear of a vehicle operated by Sandra Bourdages. No damage to the Bourdages vehicle and very slight damage to the Jefferson vehicle. Parties exchanged information.

12:09 p.m. – Motor vehicle crash, Pleasant and Main streets. A vehicle was turning onto Pleasant Street. as the other vehicle was turning onto Main Street. Vehicles collided at each front end. No injuries and damage under $1,000. Information exchanged.

2:45 p.m. – Assist citizen, South Main Street. Caller requesting to speak with an officer regarding a stay away order. Party wanted to know how to get a stay away order. Advised him it needs to be done at the courthouse. Party stated he would go tomorrow.

3:24 p.m. – Assist citizen, Main Street. ER staff asking for courtesy transport for a patient.

3:49 p.m. – Transport prisoner to house of correction.

4:08 p.m. – Suspicious person, Main Street. Person slumped over steering wheel. Male party was just listening to his radio and resting.

4:22 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Templeton Road.

4:42 p.m. – Disturbance, Intervale Avenue. Party states that she and her boyfriend got into an argument and he has done damage to her vehicle. Male party into station to speak to officer regarding incident. Verbal argument only. Both parties damaged each other’s cars.

4:48 p.m. – Lost animal, Sanders Street. Party states that she found a lost dog. It is a female and looks like a pug mix. Animal control advised. Party stated she would keep the dog until the owner was found. Dog returned to owner.

5:22 p.m. – Motor vehicle crash, Pine Street.

6:30 p.m. – Officer conducting follow-up investigation.

7:44 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Silver Lake Street. Warning for defective tail light.

8:30 p.m. – Officer conducting follow-up investigation.

9:35 p.m. – Suspicious person, Canal and Main streets. Report of person crawling in the road. Party was up and walking. She was trying to walk home. Gave her a ride home.

10:08 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Warning for not having headlights on.

Monday, May 7

2:30 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, South Main Street. Stop for failing to stop at a stop sign.

3:41 a.m. – House checks, North Orange Road. All secure at this time.

3:55 a.m. – House checks, Pinedale Avenue. All secure.

4:05 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, South Royalston Road. Stopped a motor vehicle that left Market Basket parking lot in a confusing way. Operator stated she couldn’t drive any further and needed to find a place to nap.

4:23 a.m. – House checks, Burma Road. All secure at this time.

4:56 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, West Royalston Road. Citation issued for speeding.

7:02 a.m. – Alarm, Railroad Place. Employee accidentally triggered alarm. All secure.

7:28 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Pleasant Street. Citation issued for speeding.

7:36 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Pleasant Street. Citation issued for speeding.

7:51 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Barrett Avenue. Warning issued for speeding.

8:33 a.m. – Transporting prisoner to Orange District Court.

8:35 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Templeton Road.

8:50 a.m. – Assist citizen, Pequoig Avenue. Caller would like to speak to an officer regarding his truck being sold without permission. Party was advised of options.

8:57 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Daniel Shays Highway. Citation issued for speeding.

9:03 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Daniel Shays Highway. Citation issued for speeding.

9:28 a.m. – Threat, Harrington Street. Caller reporting she is being threatened and she’s not sure where to go because other party lives in Spencer.

9:30 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Daniel Shays Highway. Warning issued for speeding.

9:36 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Daniel Shays Highway. Citation issued for speeding.

9:55 a.m. – Walk-in. Sex offender into station to re-register, South Main Street.

10:11 a.m. – Walk-in. Harassment, Main Street. No police action was required. The party was just updating officer that she is finally going to court to apply for a 209A regarding on-going harassment from her ex-boyfriend.

10:28 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Pleasant Street. Warning issued for defective equipment.

10:29 a.m. – Motor vehicle complaint, Chestnut Hill Avenue and Main Street. Party calling regarding a motor vehicle that almost caused an accident in the area on Saturday at 3 p.m.

10:37 a.m. – Illegal dumping, Twichell Street. DPW received a direct call for someone removing a fence and dumping it in the woods on town property. Party was spoken to and will remove.

10:41 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Pleasant Street. Citation issued for speeding.

10:56 a.m. – Property dispute, Crescent Street. Party calling stating she is going to get her washer and dryer and her mother is not home, but state she told her mom she was going to get it.

12:12 p.m. – Walk-in. Assist citizen, Main Street. Party into station to speak with officer about a false police report. Party left before officer got into the station, she stated she will return.

12:15 p.m. – Civil dispute, Marble Street. Party calling to speak with an officer regarding an issue with his landlord. No answer, message left.

12:53 p.m. – Walk-in. Assist citizen, Roosevelt Avenue. Party into the station would like to speak to an officer regarding a possible scam. He has already given them $1,000. Spoke with party. Determined it was a Craigslist ad scam. Under investigation.

1:05 p.m. – Walk-in. Suspicious activity, Main Street. Party reporting there is a bike that looks like it might have been stolen. It is up against the rail in front of the hospital. The bike was taken in as found property.

1:20 p.m. – Animal complaint, Main Street. Athol Hospital security calling to report a dog left in a vehicle. Security reporting ACO can cancel, owners came back to vehicle.

1:23 p.m. – Motor vehicle crash, South Main Street. 911 caller reporting a motor vehicle accident in the lot, no personal injury. A vehicle operated by Daniel R. Fair backed into a vehicle operated by Caitlin S. Miner. Fair was cited for failing to use care in backing.

1:28 p.m. – Walk-in. Assist citizen, Crescent Street. Party into station to speak to an officer about getting a section 35 on her son. Spoke with party and advised her of her options.

1:58 p.m. – Public records request, South Main Street. Officer dropped off a public records request form to a disabled man at his apartment.

2:07 p.m. – Motor vehicle crash, Tunnel Street. 911 caller reporting a motor vehicle accident, no personal injury. A vehicle operated by Larry J. Hurlburt backed out of a parking space and crashed into a vehicle operated by Randy S. Stoddard.

3:50 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Stopped after caller stated vehicle was all over the road. No signs of impairment.

4:06 p.m. – Walk-in to renew LTC, South Athol Road.

4:12 p.m. – Abandoned 911 call, Pleasant Street. Tried calling back and received a busy signal. Confirmed accidental.

4:39 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, West Royalston Road.

5:28 p.m. – Motor vehicle complaint, Tower Road. Caller reporting an erratic driver. Spoke with male party. No issues.

6:01 p.m. – Walk-in. Assist citizen, Daniel Shays Highway. Party stating he was kicked out of his residence, but he needs to collect his belongings.

7:02 p.m. – Assault and battery, Hapgood Street. Party states she was assaulted by her ex-tenant’s kid. Simple assault, advised to seek complaint through court.

7:18 p.m. – Walk-in. Property lost, Main Street. Party states she found a jacket with a wallet inside.

7:30 p.m. – Animal complaint, Rich Place. Caller states that there is a female party with her dogs at the residence and she is not supposed to have them. He stated there was a selectmen’s meeting regarding this issue. Advised Animal Control Officer.

7:34 p.m. – Animal complaint, Lincoln Avenue. 911 caller states there is a bear in his yard. Officer checked area and was unable to locate bear. Bear went back into the woods away from residences.

7:45 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Templeton Road. Multiple reports of an erratic vehicle, going 5-10 miles per hour and causing almost near accidents.

8:01 p.m. – Assist citizen, Hapgood Street. 911 caller reporting some drug paraphernalia found in apartment upstairs she is cleaning out.

8:03 p.m. – Disturbance, Hapgood Street. 911 caller states there is a car of teenagers threatening her and other people in the house.

8:58 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Main and School streets. Warning for defective brake light.

9:47 p.m. – Public records request, Riverbend Street. Received fax for a public records request.

9:54 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Main Street.

10:02 p.m. – Motor vehicle stop, Main Street.

Tuesday, May 8

12:06 a.m. – House checks, North Orange Road. All secure.

1:04 a.m. – House checks, Pinedale Avenue. All secure at this time.

1:11 a.m. – Assist citizen, Arthur Avenue. Caller requesting a phone call from an officer regarding money that he has loaned out to an individual. Subject advised to speak with Orange District Court.

2:07 a.m. – Welfare check, South Street. It was found after speaking with party, party was having an issue with suicidal thoughts. Transported party to Athol Hospital.

2:20 a.m. – Assist citizen, Arthur Avenue. Caller requesting to speak to an officer again regarding money that has been loaned out to an individual. Subject was advised to speak with Orange District Court.

7:54 a.m. – Transporting male prisoner to Greenfield District Court.

8:11 a.m. – Walk-in. Assist citizen, Main Street. Party reporting a little girl ran in front of her car this morning and it scared her. Little girl was not hit, but she felt bad leaving after. Would like to speak to an officer. States no contact was made with child. Child went to her car and left. Wanted on record in case other party calls to report.

9:18 a.m. – Officer conducting follow-up investigation. Athol Hospital doctor requesting to speak with an officer. The doctor wanted to make sure the police department is aware of certain allegations a section 12 patient had made. Confirmed with the doctor that the department is aware and have investigated the matter.

10:05 a.m. – Assault. Party into the station for an interview. Case under investigation.

10:08 a.m. – Walk-in for LTC/FID.

10:27 a.m. – Lost animal, Partridgeville Road. 911 call to report loose animals. The farm across the street must have left their gate open and there are several llamas, goats and cows running down the road. Both ACOs en route. Assisted ACO. All animals back where they belong.

11:17 a.m. – Walk-in for LTC/FID.

11:26 a.m. – Walk-in. Landlord/tenant dispute, Prospect Street. Landlord into the station to speak to an officer about an issue with his tenants. The party wanted to pass along possible 94C activity. Information gathered and passed along immediately.

11:32 a.m. – Walk-in for LTC/FID.

11:43 a.m. – Welfare check, Main Street. Meals on Wheels requesting a welfare check for a party who didn’t answer the door. Officer made contact with the residents inside apartment. Everything was fine and the male party in question was sleeping. Meals on Wheels was notified of same.

1:24 p.m. – Animal complaint, Cottage Street. Barking dog complaint.

1:26 p.m. – Motor vehicle complaint, Pleasant Street. Caller reporting a vehicle driving at an excessive speed, passed her, and then almost hit a pedestrian. Vehicle was last seen turning onto Dorset Road. Checked area. Gone on arrival.

1:29 p.m. – ACO conducting wildlife follow-up, Wallingford Ave.

1:58 p.m. – Walk-in to station requesting to speak to an officer regarding child abuse, Ridge Avenue. Took preliminary information from the reporting party.
