The U.S. Mint will release three new products soon. To order coins from them, visit their website at, or call them at 1-800-USA-MINT.

The 2020 version of the Sacagawea Dollar coin was available in rolls and bags beginning Feb. 12. These are circulation — quality strikes from the Denver and Philadelphia mints sold at a premium over face value.

Starting Feb. 14, the mint offers the Founding Fathers Currency set. This will feature a dollar bill and a two dollar bill with matching serial numbers beginning “2020.” There will be sold at a high premium over their face value, in a fancy descriptive folder.

On Feb. 18, the three-coin set of American Samoa National Park quarters will be put on sale, at a hefty premium over their face value.

There will be coin and stamp shows at the Holiday Inn on Northeastern Drive (Exit 4 off Route 3) in Nashua, NH on Feb. 16. Admission and off-street parking are free, with hours from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The U.S. Mint has announced that the American Samoa quarter will be the last one to have a version struck with the “W” mint mark see release into circulation, That program of quarters minted at West Point began last year, with only two million of each quarter minted.

Lucky collectors who have found rolls of these “W” mint — marked coins in banks have been able to sell them to some dealers for hefty premiums.
