Wednesday, Sept. 27

5:58 p.m. – Patrol Officer in the East Road area observed an ATV headed north on the side of roadway. Driver was not wearing a helmet. When police stopped them, found two minors involved. ATV pushed to residence and parents spoken with.

7:35 p.m. – Caller reported possible homeless person sleeping on the bench. Police followed up to see if assistance was required.

Thursday, Sept. 28

7:49 p.m. – After responding to E Main Street shoplifting call, a criminal complaint will be filed on the subject for two past incidents of shoplifting.

Saturday, Sept. 30

9:18 a.m. – Caller from Daniel Shays Highway requested police assistance with bill dispute. Reporting party decided that it was best if they left, but requested the owner reimburse their money in cash. Owner denied that request, and explained that they would have to produce the card used to pay to get reimbursed. Reporting party was advised of their options.

12:28 p.m. – Reporting party advised police that while they were driving through the Hayden Street area, they had observed one dog attacking another dog. Reporting party also lives in the area and was concerned of the potential danger to the neighborhood. Police spoke with the dog owner about the complaint. Owner believes the dog had gotten loose from his line in the front yard and did not know an incident involving his dog and another animal had occurred. Police obtained owner’s information including dog’s age and vaccination history.

5:19 p.m. – Lobby walk-in to report multiple harassment issues they had spoken about with the neighbor that day including; the amount of traffic the previous night around 3 a.m., parking in front of reporting party’s residence, doors slamming, and stalking the reporting party. Report taken and police advised them to, in the future, call when issues are occurring. 

Tuesday, Oct. 3

8:25 a.m. – E Main Street caller requested police assistance to remove a small bag of what appeared to be narcotics they had found and would like an officer to pick it up at the parking lot.  Services rendered.

4:22 p.m. – Request for extra police patrols in the Athol Road area after pedestrian had to jump out of the road due to an erratic driver. Car description given.

Wednesday, Oct. 4

12:58 a.m. – Daniel Shays Highway arrest of Meagan Mae O’Loughlin, 26, on multiple warrants.

Thursday, Oct. 5

11:53 a.m. – Request for police assistance with shoplifting in progress at E Main Street for a male subject wearing a black Dare/Say No To Drugs hoodie who was attempting to leave the store. Daniel M. Sachse, 43, was arrested on charges of larceny over $1,200 by single scheme, trespassing and possession of Class E drug.

3:20 p.m. – Vehicle fire investigated in front of an E Main Street building. OFD response.

Friday, Oct. 6

2:01 a.m. – Investigated possible Roche Avenue illegal dumping. Officer located two sailboats with what appeared to be miscellaneous junk inside of them. Officer to follow up with property owner. 

5:54 p.m. – W Orange Road motor vehicle complaint about three motorcycles doing wheelies and burnouts. Police advised operator of vehicle to cease since this is not first complaint.

Saturday, Oct. 7

10:25 p.m. – Caller reported a possible disturbance with parties screaming in an E Main Street building. Issue over smoking in the building, and peace was restored.

Sunday, Oct. 8

12:08 a.m. – Police provided courtesy transport to E River Street area caller who was concerned they were being followed.

8:18 a.m. – S Main Street vandalism reported to the door of the ticket booth in front of the track.

11:00 a.m. – Station lobby walk-in reported, that at 3 p.m. the previous day at the lake, their children had been approached by a male subject on a motorcycle who offered them rides. Black motorcycle, black helmet and blue seats, and that this was not the first incident of children being offered rides.

3:33 p.m. – Police assistance requested to E Main Street for trespass issue and subject making threats. Male party was advised multiple times that he is not allowed to come back.  Police escorted him off of the property. Subject would not take or sign trespass notice.

6:49 p.m. – Main Street report of cows in the road.

Tuesday, Oct. 10

7:19 a.m. – Main/N Main Street area report of cows in the road.  

Wednesday, Oct. 11

12:07 a.m. – Daniel Shays Highway traffic stop for no inspection sticker. Vehicle operator found to be operating the vehicle after suspension. Citation issued and vehicle towed from the scene.

12:08 p.m. – Police response to notice from E Main Street Loss Prevention caller of a subject that had stolen some trading cards previously was back in the store in the area of the trading cards. Police arrested Rishi Pardal, 43, for shoplifting by price tag tampering.

10:13 p.m. – E Main Street store asked for police assistance with female party not scanning items and switching bar codes. The female party was identified and a criminal complaint will be filed with the Orange District Court.

Monday, Oct. 16

12:11 a.m. – Daniel Shays Highway traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jillian Renae Manty, 27, for OUI-Liquor or .08%, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

Thursday, Oct. 19

5:30 p.m. – Tully Road motor vehicle accident. Operator alleged he was run off the road, causing his vehicle to go down an embankment. Report filed.

Friday, Oct. 20

3:53 p.m. – Red Brook Lane report of car vandalism. Left side back window was smashed out and a minor dent in the left side. Reporting party had observed the incident and believes they know who did it. Under investigation.

11:43 p.m – Jessica Buelow, 32, was arrested for multiple WMS warrants.

Saturday, Oct. 21

2:05 a.m. – Noise complaint from E Main Street of loud sounds coming from the apartment’s TV and speakers as if they've been watching a movie for the past few hours. Subject was advised of the complaint and agreed to turn the volume down.

Sunday, Oct. 22

11:56 a.m. – E Main Street shoplifting incident and male is refusing to give information.  Due to the amount of unscanned items being under a certain amount, no charges going forward, but subject was trespassed from the business.

2:34 p.m. – Report from E Main Street of a possibly intoxicated individual staggering in the grocery aisle. Police advised them they were no longer welcome in the store and were sent on their way without incident.

8:54 p.m. – Caller from Cloukey Avenue reported that a neighbor's dog bit her husband’s arm. Same stated he does not want to go to the hospital, nor does he need medical attention.  Reporting party was advised the ACO (Animal Control Officer) would be contacted to follow up.

Monday, Oct. 23

1:28 p.m. – Caller from Daniel Shays Highway area requested a welfare check on an elderly male with a cane who was wandering around and appeared confused. Police learned that the subject, who had his vehicle parked at Erving PD the night prior, had been given a courtesy transport. OPD provided subject a ride back to Erving, where he was sent on his way.

4:12 p.m. – Station lobby walk-in requested vandalism incident be on record. On Monday, early morning around approximately 3:30 a.m., a group of juveniles/young adults took a sign apart at their business, breaking two letters. Reporting party also learned  the group smashed some "free" plates they had out front in the yard. Reporting party had video footage, but was not sure of the clarity. Through a third party contact, reporting party obtained the names of the juveniles involved. Police made contact with some of the involved juveniles, and they were advised of the consequences and criminal charges if they are found caught vandalizing property.

6:10 p.m. – Main Street report of at least a dozen cows in the roadway. Owner notified.

9:01 p.m. – Daniel Shays Highway clerk requested police assistance with suspicious persons who may have just done drugs in their bathroom (subjects and vehicle descriptions provided). Police detained and arrested Jessica Nicole Valley, 33, on charges of possession to distribute Class B drug – subsequent offense.
