Friday, December 9

2:27 p.m. – E Main Street caller reported her ex had stolen her debit card and used it. Transaction did not go through as card was canceled. Wanted it on record.

Monday, December 12

8:03 p.m. – OPD officer assisting with a welfare check at Fredette Street, Athol, was able to investigate a water leak in the basement. Entry was gained and water found to be constantly running from a broken toilet. Water was turned off to that toilet.

Tuesday, December 13

8:02 a.m. – Motor vehicle stop on S Main Street, Athol, resulted in one arrest on multiple warrants. Taken into custody without issue.

11:33 a.m. – Caller from E River Street area reported observing two women obviously drinking out of liquor bottles taking off in a blue four door sedan. Partial plate number provided. Vehicle left in an unknown direction. Gone on arrival.

Friday, December 16

4:18 p.m. – Parties into the station reported that they received a package (nothing of value) but they did not order and it seemed suspicious. Officer looked at the package and after researching some of the information on the package it was determined to be a scam. No information was given out. Parties were advised to come back if it continues.

Sunday, December 18

2:10 a.m. – Police investigated a wide open door on the storage unit attached to the rear of an E Main Street building. All appeared to be in order.

1:01 p.m. – Police investigated a report of vandalism at E River Street. Reporting party stated her vehicle, a white Subaru Forester had its rear windshield broken.

3:38 p.m. – Control reported officer wanted for trespasser, Bacon Street. Police spoke with homeowner who said a woman keeps sitting on their front property, and had left a stuffed animal in past, might possibly have mental health issues. Police searched the area with negative contact.

10:03 a.m. – Motor vehicle complaint from New Athol Road where caller reported another vehicle (description and plate information provided) had just cut them off and tried to run them off the road. Police located and stopped said vehicle and advised the operator of the complaint. No impairment noted.

11:28 p.m. – Police responded to a disturbance call from E Main Street. Caller stated that a client put her fist in the reporting party’s face and asked her if she wanted her to punch her, hit her in the face with some to-go menus, and then pushed her into a table. Reporting party’s supervisor advised her to have an officer take a report. Client had calmed down at that point and was in the kitchen.

Friday, December 23

7:39 a.m. – Caller from W Myrtle and Chase Street advised police of a downed tree and lines are down in the road. Highway department advised.

7:50 a.m. – Patrol officer in the Dana Road area reported tree and lines down. National Grid notified.
