GREENFIELD – An Erving man says he plans to purchase a house and a car after winning $4 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery last month.

Jeremy Bouchard played the “$4,000,000 Jumbo Cash” game with an instant ticket he purchased from the Sandri convenience store and gas station at 416 Federal St. in Greenfield, according to the Lottery’s website. He opted for a one-time payment of $2.6 million, before taxes.

Sandri will receive $40,000 for its sale of the winning ticket.

“We love it when our customers win at lottery,” Mike Behn, Sandri’s president and chief operating officer, said Tuesday. “When they win, we win – and that’s good.”

He said customers tend to buy lottery tickets where winning tickets have been sold. He also said this was Sandri’s biggest winning share to date.
