PETERSHAM — The Petersham Historical Society will host Guest Speaker and Artist Ken Levine, who will present the program, “Lost Town and the Rabbit Run Railroad: A Quabbin Art and History Project,” Friday, June 3, at Petersham Town Hall, 1 South Main Street. A brief business meeting at 6:30 p.m. will precede the program, which begins at 7 p.m. Free. All are welcome. Great for all ages.

PETERSHAM — The Athol Golden Age Club, in conjunction with the North Quabbin Trails Association, will be hosting its first “Golden Walkabout” on Sunday, June 5, at 1 p.m. This will be held at Feldman’s Cut Throat Gnome Trails in Petersham, along the Flatlanders Trails.
ATHOL — VFW Post 650 will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, June 7, at 7 p.m. in the DAV Hall at 47 Pine St. Face masks are advised. This is the last meeting until September.
ORANGE — The concert season will begin Friday, June 24, at 7 p.m., and will continue through the Fridays of July. Concerts will be held in Butterfield Park on the bandstand. Families are invited to bring blankets or chairs and gather around the bandstand.
WINCHENDON — There will be a food truck festival featuring battle of the bands, crafters and artists in GAR Park, Winchendon, on Friday, June 24, from 5 to 9 p.m.

ROYALSTON — The Royalston Fire and EMS Association will hold a Chicken BBQ at 5 p.m. at the Royalston Fire Department, 4 Athol Road, Royalston. $20 for adult; $12, kids (under 12). Tickets can be purchased through Association members or at the BBQ.
ORANGE — The Orange Solstice Riverfest begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, with family activities, vendors, food, music and a lighted boat parade at 9 p.m. Sponsored by the Orange Lions Club.
