5:23 p.m. — Motor vehicle crash, West Royalston Road. A 2014 Chevrolet 1500 operated by William M. Schmick Jr., of 92 Jasmine Road, Orange struck a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic owned by Steven M. Reed, of 411 Tully Road, Orange, after taking the corner too sharply while turning onto Logan Road. Schmick taken into custody for OUI alcohol, second offense.

5:33 p.m. — Motor vehicle crash, Main Street. A 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer operated by David J. Mallette Jr., of 339 Chestnut St. Apt. #R1, Gardner, struck a 2003 Honda CRV owned by Mark B. Davis, of 133 Green St. Party stated that a Verizon truck is working a detail in front of TD Bank causing a hazard for motor vehicles being unable to see as they are pulling out. Parties were advised to exchange information needed and claim process.

7:26 p.m. — Caller states that she is stuck in the car wash, Exchange Street. Doors to car wash would not open. Officers able to slide garage door open to allow party to exit.

7:31 p.m. — Abandoned motor vehicle, Market Drive.

10:17 p.m. — Welfare check, Main Street. Nurse called stating party left the hospital in paper scrubs with no coat. Transported to AH.

10:39 p.m. — Welfare check, School Street. Caller states she would like a welfare check on a 3-year-old girl.

Tuesday, March 6

8:40 a.m. — Transporting prisoner to Orange District Court.

8:47 a.m. — Walk-in to station to report he hit his neighbor’s parked vehicle this morning, Twichell Street. Neighbor was not home at the time. Party left a note with the neighbor’s wife.

9:17 a.m. — Walk-in to station for a public records request. Form submitted and awaiting approval.

9:21 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Fish and Crescent streets. Warning for marked lanes violation.

10:02 a.m. — Walk-in. Officer from Royalston looking for an officer to assist him with a follow-up, Main Street.

10:16 a.m. — Report of a fire alarm activation, general alarm, School Street. Investigating, under control at this time. Alarm company reporting an additional signal.

10:18 a.m. — Escort funeral, Main and Exchange Streets. Assisted with traffic.
