Wednesday, May 10

6:48 p.m. – Dorset Road caller to report fraud that he and his wife had bank accounts opened in their names and received the debit cards.  They have called the bank to report they did not open any accounts, and will be monitoring their credit reports.

Thursday, May 11

11:05 p.m. – South Street disturbance reported.  Caller stated the neighbor tried to break down the bathroom door they share, and has previously attempted to pick the locks as well.  Transported to hospital.

Saturday, May 13

1:03 a.m. – Exchange Street caller reported they had seen a group of people on the cameras for the back of the restaurant.  After someone went out to investigate, observed a female party was laying on the ground near the ATM machine.  Police requested an ambulance for an apparently intoxicated female they had found at bottom of the staircase that possibly fell down flight of stairs.  Transported to hospital.

1:31 a.m. – Exchange Street caller reported their wife overdue from a friend’s residence in Ware.  Last communication was at 9 p.m. that evening, and her cell phone GPS was not working properly in addition to traveling in an area where phone was most likely not in service the whole time.  BOLO issued.  Husband was contacted and notified that his vehicle was located by OPD in their town, but no contact was made at residence with his wife. 

2:37 a.m. – Hospital ER staff requested assistance with a hostile female, with boyfriend, giving staff a hard time and female not listening/cooperating.

Sunday, May 14

8:19 a.m – Station lobby walk-in to drop off a debit card and gift card found on Chestnut Street.

10:36 a.m. – Party into the station to drop off a debit card that was left in the ATM.

Monday, May 15

8:45 a.m. – Main Street caller reported that someone had smashed out a window of their car.  Under investigation.

9:09 a.m. – Party into station to report unemployment fraud.  An attempt was made to file for unemployment in the reporting party’s name.  Their place of employment is aware and reporting party filled out the appropriate paperwork with them, and placed a freeze on credit.

9:19 a.m. – Doe Valley Road caller spoke with an officer regarding a relative threatening to kick him out when he has been paying rent there.  Threats to physically harm him were also made.  Reporting party was advised of court options and explained the eviction process.

Tuesday, May 16

3:25 p.m.m – Fish Street caller reported they have a camera outside their door and caught on the camera another building occupant stating they were going to burn the building down.

8:41 p.m. – Female party in the lobby to report an assault that had occurred the previous night to her by her mother’s boyfriend.  Advised of court options.

Wednesday, May 17

12:51 p.m. – Police responded to Pleasant Street school after advised from FD that a student had tried to start a fire in the bathroom.

Thursday, May 18

12:36 p.m. – Police responded to a Crescent Street disturbance.  Spoke to all parties involved.  The parties were having an issue over property, and who does and does not live in the apartment. Both parties were advised of their court options.

6:48 p.m. – Larceny reported by Crescent Street caller. Items were taken from basement and the door lock had been damaged. Police at that time were waiting to hear from the reporting party to see what items had been taken and which ones had been recovered.

7:36 p.m. – Lakeview Avenue caller reported they had just gotten home and observed two big dogs were eating their chickens.

Friday, May 19

1:23 p.m. – Party into station lobby to report someone had stolen their checkbook.

Monday, May 22

6:23 p.m. – Patrol in Exchange Street area noted suspicious activity by an individual. Police seized the bike for possible evidence, while subject took off into the house when the officer tried to stop them again.

6:32 p.m. – Freedom Street caller reported a stolen bike.

7:27 p.m. – Chestnut Hill Avenue ongoing neighbor dispute. Police spoke with the reporting party who stated the neighbor had been yelling and swearing at them and videotaping the reporting party (who was was in their own yard). Police advised to go to court in the morning.

Wednesday, May 24

3:39 p.m. – Police assistance requested at Main Street with a juvenile being aggressive toward staff and grandmother.  Police escorted the juvenile down to the ER on CSO section.  Juvenile became assaultive with ER staff and was restrained. Charges to follow for assault and battery on hospital staff.

6:00 p.m. – Partridgeville Road area caller requested to speak to an officer about an abusive situation they’re in.  Later came to station, and a restraining order was issued by a judge.

6:37 p.m. – Chase Road caller reported large yard ornaments were stolen out of their garden.

9:06 p.m. – Market Drive store owner reported a larceny they had on video of  male party stole a bottle of alcohol. Video sent to police.

Thursday, May 25

7:47 a.m. – Euclid Street caller had video of someone going into mailboxes on Euclid Street. Under investigation.

11:02 a.m. – Main Street caller reported a person on a gas powered bike riding up and down the sidewalk. Police talked to the male party and advised him of the rules of where to ride a bicycle.

2:21 p.m. – Party into the station to drop off a wallet and cellphone found in the Hannaford parking lot. Returned to owner.

2:48 p.m. – Main Street reporting party stated his neighbor (appeared to have been drinking) came over to confront him about something that happened a year ago, and banged on the door to fight him.  

Sunday, May 28

10:58 a.m. – Lenox Street caller reported a female had come to her house to threatened her, stating she owed her money. Later, reporting party came to the station to fill out a no trespass order. 

Monday, May 29

7:49 p.m. – Wallingford Avenue caller reported a neighbor was screaming and yelling at her and her family, as well as videotaping them. She stated they were also taking property off their property and throwing it back. Parties were advised to go to court.

Wednesday, May 31

4:11 p.m. – Party into the station reported almost being hit by a motor vehicle (vehicle information provided to police). Advised of complaint, negative for intoxication.
