Sunday, April 2

8:25 a.m. – Caller from Main Street area reported a suspicious person was sleeping in a sleeping bag.  Party was packing their belongings and sent on their way.

9:08 a.m. – Riceville Road caller reported they are renting a room and had found cameras hidden around the household.  Advised of laws pertaining to cameras.

11:06 a.m. – Lobby walk-in reported that he and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument the previous night.  Reporting party stated he had left for the night, but when he came back to the Western Avenue residence the locks had been changed.  Police headed to the address with the reporting party, to attempt to solve the issue peacefully, but returned to the station for the arrest of the reporting party for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Monday, April 3

9:25 a.m. – Responded to welfare check request at Fish Street and found a party under the influence of an unknown substance and was unable to hold a conversation or speak to officer.  Party had a small laceration on their hand and was voluntarily transported to AMH for treatment.  Animal Control Officer (ACO) took possession of the dog.

12:01 p.m. – Officer assisting Pleasant Street school for an irate student. 

1:42 p.m. – Police response to Unity Avenue for multiple disturbance calls.  Parties separated.

Tuesday, April 4

8:17 p.m. – Disturbance South Athol Road where reported their daughter’s ex boyfriend was in the driveway causing a scene and throwing punches that missed the reporting party.  Police dropped off subject on Tunnel Street.

Thursday, April 6

11:05 a.m. – Concord Street 911 for an allergic reaction.  Epi pen was administered and stood by until OFD arrived.

12:16 p.m. – Report of a Petersham Road structure fire.  Caller reported flames on the roof.  No residents inside the building.  National Grid notified for power to be cut.  DPW notified of water main break and water will be coming from Garfield Road tower.  Assisted with traffic.

12:36 p.m. – Officer requested a unit to the school for an altercation.

3:39 p.m. – Main Street caller reported an unwanted female was in his apartment.  Active trespass notice from the property.  Female party had been let in to get clothing and car key, but refused to leave after.  Police advised that he would charge female with trespassing.

3:55 p.m. – Caller reported metal duct type material that was left at the beginning of Partridgeville Road was picked up, and caller thought it could be suspicious.  Wanted police know in the event that someone called it in as missing.  Units checked the area.

5:02 p.m. – Caller from Petersham Road and Main Street area reported a male party wearing no shirt, pretending to jump in front of cars and trying to stop traffic.  Advised male party to stay out of traffic.

5:55 p.m. – South Street caller reported his neighbor’s kids using their fence as a back stop to their softball game and there appears to be damage to their fence.  Spoke with mother of the children who stated they were not throwing it at his fence.

6:12 p.m. – Juvenile stated it appeared he was being followed in the Main and Exchange Street area from Cumberland Farms to the YMCA by an adult male party, who did not follow them into the YMCA.  Police checked the area but no one matching the description found.

7:56 p.m. – Station lobby walk-in reported a female went after her at the carnival.  There is prior charges between the two parties.  Necessary action taken.

Friday, April 7

4:32 p.m. – Caller stated their boss was sending threatening text messages.  Advised of court options.

Saturday, April 8

11:38 a.m. – Patrol officer requested vehicle to be towed for blocking the bridge area.  Dales was passing by and already on scene.  

12:43 p.m. – Laurel Street caller reported juveniles riding dirt bikes and ATVs down the roadway.  Police checked area, gone upon arrival.

Sunday, April 9

8:58 a.m. – Main Street caller stated her nephew got sprayed by bear mace.  AFD requested ventilation of the building as the spray makes the entrance impassable.  Male party transported to AMH.  Male party involved was placed under arrest.

12:40 p.m. – Multiple 911 calls for a Templeton Road brush fire with active flames along the roadway.  One caller reported it was spreading up the trees.  Extinguished and AFD wetted the scene.

Wednesday, April 12

8:09 a.m. – Barrett Avenue caller reported their son had left his saxophone at the bus stop and it is now missing.

8:30 a.m. – Station lobby walk-in turned in controlled substance found in his ceiling tiles.

8:55 a.m. – Lake Street caller requested assistance with some threatening statements that were made about her 12-year-old daughter by an adult.  Advised that school adjustment councilor would be advised to check in with their daughter, have school administration speak with other possible witnesses.  Police would follow up with other involved party, and advised reporting party of court options.

11:41 a.m – Caller reporting possible firearm in North Orange Road that appeared to have been run over.  Item was retrieved and brought to the station.

2:45 p.m. – Station walk-in to speak with an officer in regards to a fight at the school.

Thursday, April 13

7:01 a.m. –  DPW notified APD that a trash company had left three bins in the middle of Island Street blocking traffic.  Police checked the area, three dumpsters were sitting in the road hindering traffic flow.  APD advised trash company to move them out of the road.

Friday, April 14

12:01 a.m. – Patrol officer checked on a party sleeping in the Veterans Memorial.  Party confirmed they were just resting and did not need assistance.

3:43 a.m. – Wallingford Avenue caller reported their motion lights kept going off and on, and would like someone to check the area.  Police reported the property was all secure, and nothing appeared out of place.

8:44 a.m. – Lobby walk-in reported fraud.  Someone had taken out an unemployment claim in their name. 

10:11 a.m. – Partridgeville Road caller reported goats in the roadway.  ACO advised as well.

11:30 a.m. – Station walk-in reported fraud by a company claiming that they were a social security agency which had told them they needed to withdraw all of their money from their banks and bring it to Fitchburg.

Sunday, April 16

7:48 p.m. – High Knob Road caller reported a motorcycle and car went racing up the street and then started screaming and yelling at him.  The party on the motorcycle called and stated his friend got punched in the face by the reporting party and he was pushed off his motorcycle.  Police spoke with all parties involved and they were advised of their court option regarding the simple assault and battery allegations. Reporting party was advised to call the APD, if motor vehicles are speeding, and to not confront them. 

7:56 p.m. – Sanders Street disturbance.  Verbal argument between mother and son.  Son left for the night.
