ORANGE — The members of Bethany Lutheran Church are putting final details on their Fall Fest, to be held at the church on Cheney Street in Orange, Saturday, Nov. 3, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Co-Chairmen Dorothy Verheyen and Gail Pease will take charge of the Coffee Can Auction and have assistance at other tables.   

The most popular table will have baked goods, which will include some gluten-free items. There will also be Swedish meatballs for sale. Melissa Shiner and Doris Bittenbender will have handcrafts; Barbara Wilson and Luanne Lyman, attic treasures.  Deb Kent will tend the coffee shop and Darlene Nutter-Truehart and Chuck Verheyen will operate the grill for hot dogs and hamburgers. Baked potatoes with all the fixings will be provided by Miffy Salois. Jeannette and Jim McIntosh will host the Tombola game.  After approximately 48 years, this will be our final fair in that Bethany Lutheran Church will close at the end of 2018. The organizers appreciate the support of the community during all these years.
