STURBRIDGE — Old Sturbridge Village will hold its first Cider and Music Festival on Sunday, Oct. 14, with special hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guest vendors will showcase New England made hard cider as part of the Village's "Apple and Agriculture Days" program. Regional musical acts will perform at multiple stages throughout the event.

With paid admission (or an active membership or season pass) guests who are 21 and older and have a valid photo ID will receive coupons to sample offerings (2 oz. pour) from 6 of their favorite ciders participating at the festival. Additional sample tickets or full pours of each of the ciders will also be for sale.

While guests enjoy the ciders and tunes they can also tour the historic village and learn about the importance of cider in early New England, and visit the working 19th-century cider mill.
