Barbara Buschner: His own petard

It was not a happy day for me when I found out that Donald J. Trump won the 2016 presidential election. In my political view, there have been a lot of unhappy days since, devastatingly unhappy. Many who do not share those sentiments are continuing to insist that the former one-term president is actually a two-term president. Well, how about this? How about those of us who don’t agree, toss in the towel, move into the dark grungy place of sure thing, he did win in 2020. Because then Trump will have served himself two terms and is not eligible to be president again, under the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution. What a relief that could be.
