Chase services

ATHOL – Funeral services were held on Friday, October 26, 2018, at Witty’s Funeral Home in Orange for Millard W. Chase Jr., 81, of White Pond Road and formerly of Orange Road in Warwick, who died peacefully at home on October 18, 2018.

The Rev. Mark Bariloni of the Athol-Orange Baptist Church officiated with family and friends, offering words of remembrance. Interment with military honors was held at Silver Lake Cemetery in Athol. The bearers were Millard Chase III, Richard Chase, Sheldon Chase, Brian Smith, Gage Wood, and Brandon Thomas. Military honors were provide by the United States Navy who performed “Taps” and folded the American flag which was presented to his son, Millard III. Following the committal service, a reception was held at  the Athol-Orange Baptist Church hall.

Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, directed the arrangements.
