Tuesday, May 19

7:28 a.m. — Parole requesting officer to check residence for a party, Grove Street.

10:38 a.m. — 911 caller reporting a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries, Main Street.

11:25 a.m. — Report of a trash truck that struck a pole and left the scene, Brattle Street. The pole is snapped in half and hanging from the wires. National Grid notified. The operator has returned to the scene.

11:36 a.m. — Report of a motor vehicle accident, New Athol Road.

2:36 p.m. — Issues with detectors, Cooke Place.

3:00 p.m. — Caller would like to speak to an officer about a couch blocking the sidewalk, Crescent Street. Couch belongs to resident; he had someone coming to pick it up and bring it to the transfer station but they were closed today. Was advised to move it off of the sidewalk.

4:32 p.m. — Report of people in the church parking lot blasting music and now starting to scream and yell, Marble Street. All parties were playing a game outside, no issues.

5:39 p.m. — Alarm company calling to report a smoke detector and pull station going off, Crescent Street. Small cooking fire that is out now.

6:57 p.m. — Caller reporting a suspicious male came to his door and was asking if he had an extra pair of steel toed boots, Glendale Avenue. Officer did not locate the subject.

7:05 p.m. — Caller asking for a police escort to his house once he got into town to get belongings, Templeton Road. Female party then called a little while later stating she doesn’t want him there and he is not welcome there. Male party came to the station about going back to his residence. Officers followed to his home. Male party and his wife spoke and she allowed him to stay at the house.

10:23 p.m. — Caller requesting a ride back to residence, Main Street. Transport given.

11:49 p.m. — Burglar alarm activation, Main Street. Officer is reporting an unsecured door in the back of the building. Found rear door propped open with a rock, checked inside and all was well. Door secured.
