Athol Police log: May 11, 2020

Monday, May 11

1:02 a.m. — 911 caller stating his stepson is out of control, High Knob Road. Reporting party believes he may have taken something, all units advised. No weapons reported. Officers are en route with FD to Athol Hospital.

2:18 a.m. — Fitchburg Police calling for a welfare check on a female, South Athol Road. Officers checked the area where the pings were. Inconsistent and negative contact.

10:16 a.m. — 911 call for a male party can’t eat and is dizzy, Pine Street. COVID-19 screened negative. A2 is requesting the engine to the scene to assist with extrication.

11:54 a.m. — Caller reporting female made self-harm statements to her, Exchange Street. Negative contact at father’s apartment. Involved female’s vehicle was not at the property.

1:21 p.m. — Caller reporting male party out of control and being violent, Main Street. Sent on way.

1:50 p.m. — Caller is requesting an officer because the upstairs neighbors are pouring something through her ceiling, School Street. Toilet overflowed into kitchen downstairs through hole in the floor. Board of Health advised.

4:10 p.m. — 911 caller stating there’s a male at his house asking to go to Heywood Hospital, Washington Avenue and South Athol Road. He’s not making any sense and isn’t sure where to go. Party has been turned over to the hospital for voluntary evaluation.

4:49 p.m. — Caller reporting a disabled motor vehicle up on the embankment, Pequoig Avenue.

5:04 p.m. — 911 call for a male party who isn’t breathing, lips are blue and CPR is in progress, Ward Street. Male party is a cancer patient. Assisted AFD with CPR.

7:08 p.m. — Caller stating that the manhole cover is spewing out water, Harvard Avenue and Swanzey Street. No issues, excess rain build up.

8:16 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Chestnut Hill Avenue and Main Street. Warning for red light violation.

8:16 p.m. — Caller wanted it noted that she got ran off the road at the new intersection because someone blew the red light coming down the hill, Chestnut Hill Avenue and Main Street.

8:58 p.m. — Caller stating his 15-year-old son packed up all his stuff and walked out, Cottage Street. Spoke with reporting party who was advised to call probation and explain situation. Reporting party stated he wasn’t concerned about his son being in danger and was wanted incident on record.

9:01 p.m. — Officer out looking for ATV that took off, South and Canal streets. Area searched, unable to locate.
