Wednesday, March 18

1:50 a.m. — Officer off with male subject in the YMCA parking lot, Main Street.

6:47 a.m. — Officer requesting FD for a motor vehicle accident, White Pond Road. National Grid contacted. Dale’s en route for tow.

8:39 a.m. — 911 caller reporting her vehicle just stopped working in the middle of the road, Main and Spring streets. Vehicle was moved to the side of the road by good Samaritans. Vehicle was able to be started and driven from the scene.

9:07 a.m. — Disturbance, Pequoig Avenue. Officer spoke with reporting party and landlord. All parties advised of options.

9:32 a.m. — Caller is reporting that someone got into her vehicle, School Street. No damage, but change and the registration are missing. Reporting party hasn’t driven her vehicle since Saturday or Sunday.

1:01 p.m. — Caller looking to get a restraining order, Exchange Street. Reporting party was given options regarding 209A orders.

1:07 p.m. — Caller is reporting that an employee has been purposely double-charging customers, Main Street. Incident under investigation.

1:20 p.m. — Athol Hospital ER is reporting a dog bite, Main Street.

2:11 p.m. — Orange Housing looking to take a trespass notice off of a male party, Partridgeville Road.

2:32 p.m. — Party reporting there is a female in a vehicle dropping off trash bags in the woods, Prospect Street.

2:59 p.m. — Female in the lobby reporting a male party on a pedal bike that followed her to her parking spot, Main Street. He then told her to use her blinker and then drove off.

3:12 p.m. — Caller stating there is a black Charger speeding through every day, Fish Street. Reporting party didn’t get a license plate, will call back when she gets one.

3:36 p.m. — 911 caller stating there is a suspicious male on a black bicycle, Metropolitan Court.

4:14 p.m. — Caller stating the male is back asking people why they called 911 and that he’s not doing anything, Metropolitan Court. Gone on arrival.

5:02 p.m. — Party in lobby stating there is a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Eagles Club with two subjects in the vehicle, Hapgood Street. Vehicle gone on arrival.

5:17 p.m. — Female reporting there was a male that knocked on her front and side door and then on the window and started yelling at her, Pleasant Street. He left in a silver car, pulled into CVS and then onto Main Street. Negative contact.

5:24 p.m. — Caller stating there is a possibly intoxicated party, Market Drive.

6:56 p.m. — Single car motor vehicle accident, West Royalston Road. Car crashed into a rock, minor damage. Dale’s on scene.

7:05 p.m. — Female in the lobby to speak to an officer about a “rude” Facebook post her mom made about her ex-boyfriend, Crescent Street. Same has since been removed.

7:17 p.m. — Franklin County House of Corrections notified APD that they will be releasing three prisoners that will be on house arrest.

7:30 p.m. — Two car motor vehicle accident in the parking lot, Main Street. One vehicle left upon arrival. Located at registered address.

7:56 p.m. — 911 caller stating a 55-year-old fell and is having shoulder and hip pain, Morton Meadows.

8:22 p.m. — Female stating a white BMW keeps pulling in and out of her driveway, Laurel Street. Vehicle was gone on arrival.

8:39 p.m. — Male party calling stating that the house next to him has a renovation trailer that is in the road, Fern and Freedom streets. There is no plate on the trailer and it is a hazard. Owner located and advised it needs to be registered and moved. Owner of the trailer will be getting someone to move it.

Thursday, March 19

12:15 a.m. — Officers patrolling the area for a male party, Laurel Street. Subject states he lives on Crescent Street and was out for a walk. Refused to provide further information.

7:33 a.m. — Trash company calling for their truck stuck sideways on ice across roadway, Forest Avenue and Hillcrest Road. DPW contact and en route.

8:24 a.m. — Winchendon PD calling to report a Royalston officer off with a disabled motor vehicle, Chestnut Hill Avenue. Officer requesting a tow. Dale’s on scene.

10:37 a.m. — Party calling for information regarding custody between their 3-year-old daughter and the virus quarantine, Crescent Street. Reporting party and ex share custody week to week of child. Reporting party would like for the child to stay with her to limit exposure to COVID-19 as much as possible. Advised to seek assistance with court regarding custody agreement.

11:58 a.m. — Caller reporting a blue Prius in the roadway, Hapgood Street.

12:53 p.m. — Caller reporting a female knocking on the door stating she is being followed, Patrick Avenue. Party transported to Athol Hospital for mental health assist.

3:40 p.m. — Report of altercation between between two males, Main Street. One male walked off unknown direction, the other male walked into the YMCA. Disturbance gone on arrival. Spoke to involved parties who were advised to leave the area.

4:32 p.m. — Female from Greenfield Commonwealth Virtual School requesting a welfare check on three kids that they have not heard from in three weeks, Crescent Street. No one answering the door.

5:55 p.m. — Report of a tripod in the road over pot holes, School Street.

6:01 p.m. — YMCA requesting extra patrols for people loitering outside due to the Y being closed, Main Street.

6:20 p.m. — Party reporting the smoke detector going off for approximately 20 minutes, Main Street. While speaking to her she stated they stopped but she believed to have stopped because someone took the batteries out. Command advising that everything is under control.

6:47 p.m. — Caller advising that his door lock is broken and someone stole four packs of cigarettes and $34, Main Street. Advised to speak to the staff regarding the issue.

6:56 p.m. — Male party stating the house across the street from him has been empty and there is now an open window with a blind hanging out of it, Plantation Street and Intervale Avenue. The open window was previously broken and secured from the inside with a trash bag. All damage appears to be old.

7:41 p.m. — Female in the lobby to apply for a 209A, Crescent Street. Judge declined emergency order for tonight but was advised to go to court in the morning.

8:02 p.m. — 911 call for a 75-year-old female believed to be having a stroke, Silver Lake Street.

9:09 p.m. — 911 call for a male party in his twenties reported to be overdosing, Main Street. Assisted FD. Patient was alert and breathing upon arrival.

9:42 p.m. — 911 caller reporting that there was a male party peeking into her neighbor’s windows, South Main and D streets. Reporting party stated that it is a large male party with a Carhartt jacket and a baseball cap on. Officer is transporting the male party to Athol Hospital voluntarily.

10:41 p.m. — Male party stating there was someone on his porch, Prospect Street. Not sure if they are still there but they took a pair of his boots and a sweatshirt.

10:59 p.m. — Caller stated that her sister made some self-harm statements earlier and she would just like for someone to check on her, Cottage Street.
