Monday, May 18

8:55 a.m. — While on patrol, came across a disabled motor vehicle that was completely blocking the eastbound travel lane, New Athol Road. Vehicle towed.

9:07 a.m. — Motor vehicle lockout, Daniel Shays Highway. On arrival, entry gained.

2:22 p.m. — Caller would like to speak with an officer in regards to an incident that occurred at the dump Saturday afternoon, Jones Street. Reporting party advised there was an incident between two parties over a bottle cap that was being kicked around the parking lot.

4:20 p.m. — Walk-in to discuss an incident that occurred two weeks ago involving a firearm, East River Street. Officer to follow up next shift.

6:44 p.m. — Party reporting there are three drunk males in the back yelling and swearing, East Main Street. They were asked to stop the swearing because the reporting party has a grandchild there and a disturbance started. A lot of yelling going on in the background. Noise and language addressed by officers. Peace restored.

11:12 p.m. — Party advises of a male and female fighting in the parking lot, Daniel Shays Highway. Reporting party inquired with the female if everything was okay as the reporting party knew her. Male party involved then became aggressive towards the reporting party, who is now in his truck with the doors locked. While on the line, the reporting party advises the male party has spit on his truck and is making aggressive movements. Male and female party got into their vehicle and are now leaving headed towards McDonald’s. Officers responded and initiated a traffic stop on the involved vehicle. Operator states they had an argument and it is fine now. Upon investigation, both parties have suspended licenses. Officer issued citation. Operator contacted registered owner to pick up the vehicle. Same done. After clearing the traffic stop, both officers responded to Honey Farms to speak with the reporting party. Officers advised that the matter has been dealt with and everything is okay.
