ATHOL — A Mass Cash ticket worth $100,000 has been sold at the Country Convenience Store at 216 S. Main St. in Athol, the Mass Lottery has reported.

According to Mass Lottery, the winner of that prize has yet to claim it. The ticket was sold on Sept. 21.

Mass Cash is played by choosing five numbers between 1 and 35. This can be done manually or through the Lottery’s automated Quic Pic system. Each Mass Cash costs $1 to play. Approximately 56% of the amount of money wagered on each drawing goes into the prize pool.

Choosing three out of the five winning numbers will net the player a $10 prize. Choosing four out of the five numbers wins $250. The odds of picking all five numbers is 1 in 324,632, according to the Mass Lottery website.
