ATHOL — The 13th location of the upscale-casual 110 Grill will open on Market Drive in Athol on Tuesday.

The restaurant, owned by the 110 Grill restaurant group, provides modern American cuisine with a trendy restaurant feel. The 110 team said it is excited to join the neighborhood in the North Quabbin Commons business park. The 5,800-square-foot, 180-seat restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with gluten-free and dietary-restricted menus.

“We’re excited to be sharing our concept’s newest addition with Athol and with the Quabbin community,” said Michael Boulger, 110 Grill Athol’s general manager. “I’m looking forward to working with a great staff and to be a part of something we can all truly be proud of. Our passion for great food, coupled with our unparalleled service and execution, will hopefully serve as a staple in the area for years to come.”

Boulger, from Lunenburg, said Wednesday that the restaurant has hired 70 people, with the majority being from the local area. His culinary manager, Aaron Gannon, lives in Orange.

“I’m starting to learn the area more – the North Quabbin Commons is an exciting area as a whole,” Boulger said.

At the new 110 Grill Athol, diners can enjoy classic favorites to warm up this winter season. The bar features a variety of craft beers from local breweries, including Honest Weight Artisan Beer of Orange, the Wachusett Brewery in Westminster and Berkshire Brewing Company in Deerfield, as well as national brands. There is a diverse wine list and creative signature and seasonal cocktails. 110 Grill Athol’s signature cocktails include the sweet-and-tart Honey Flower, with The Botanist Gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon and honey syrup; 110 Rye Old Fashioned with Redemption Rye Whiskey, honey syrup, cherry and orange; and a choice either of Apple Cider Sangria, with Pinot Grigio, Flaming Leprechaun cinnamon whiskey, apple cider syrup, orange juice and cranberry apple shrub, or the Wild Berry Sangria, with Merlot, mixed berry puree, cherry vodka and Triple Sec, topped with Sprite.

Following the vision of Director of Culinary Elliot William, 110 Grill Athol brings William’s global culinary influence to the menu with seasonally inspired dishes. The staff is trained in allergy awareness and offers the entire menu 100 percent gluten-free. The menu includes dishes like shrimp and clam linguini, Pappardelle bolognese,a candied walnut-encrusted goat cheese salad and much more.

Signature items on the menu include cucumber and avocado and bourbon-marinated steak tips served with a whiskey glaze.

In addition to Athol, and the recent openings in Stratham, N.H. and Fall River, the 110 Grill team is projected to open new locations in New England soon in the future, including in Worcester, Holyoke, Woburn and Saugus, as well as in Albany N.Y., and in New Hampshire in Manchester and West Lebanon. The next location opening is expected to be Worcester in early May, with more New England locations opening in 2019.

110 Athol will open Tuesday at 4 p.m., and, thereafter, for lunch and dinner Sunday through Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
