ATHOL — Paul C. Costa, 71, of 459 Sanders St. Athol passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Quabbin Valley Health Center.

Born in Athol on February 25, 1947 to John & Doris (Britt) Costa, Paul grew up in Athol. He was employed by UTD and most recently, Production Tool & Grind, from which he retired.

He served in the United States Army.

Paul enjoyed woodworking, fishing, plowing, and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Carol (Reed) Costa, sons; Michael Costa and his wife Nikki of Templeton, Wayne Costa and his wife Christine of Athol, and Shawn Costa and his companion Kelly Tandy of Orange, daughter; Donna Bishop and her husband Max of North Adams, brother; Floyd Costa of Connecticut, sister; Christine Costa of Erving, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Paul was predeceased by his parents John & Doris (Britt) Costa, brothers; Lawrence and Chet Costa and sisters; Corrine Bailey, Pauline Richardson and Lorraine Jones.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10am at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery 111 Glenallen Rd. Winchendon, MA.
