12:35 a.m. — Party looking to speak to an officer, East Main Street. Officers responded and spoke with both reporting party and involved party. Officers did not find any evidence of criminal activities at this time. Officers advised reporting party to find a different place to live as he is having a hard time living with his father and his girlfriend.

1:39 a.m. — Noise complaint, Brookside Road. Neighbors are playing loud music and it has been going on for over an hour. Officers responded and checked the area. All is quiet.

1:57 a.m. — Party advises they received a concerning phone call, Hayden Street. They are en route now for a welfare check, but would like OPD’s assistance. All is OK.

9:48 a.m. — Party states there is a bear in the neighborhood, Fountain and West Myrtle streets. Officer advising he is clear, but staying in the area. There is a group following the bear after he advised them not to do so.

10:10 a.m. — Party looking to speak with an officer regarding serving her boyfriend’s brother a trespass notice. Trespass, 258E order and eviction options all advised.

4:53 p.m. — Party advises there is a red cord hanging from a line that is on the ground, Hayden Street. Reporting party doesn’t know if it is a power line or not. Both units responded and removed the down wire cover. All is OK.

5:55 p.m. — Motor vehicle violation, East Main Street. Officer stopped vehicle for no rear plate. Found Conn. temporary plate to be expired. Citation issued to owner and Dale’s removed motor vehicle to private property.

6:40 p.m. — Several alarm activations, New Athol Road. Officer responded and spoke with the ATM company. Also spoke with the key holder and confirmed it was all set.
