11:17 a.m. - Party in the lobby reporting someone tried to change the name on his National Grid bill. Officer spoke with the party who stated someone switching his account, officer called National Grid and due to privacy issues they could not give out names, but it would be no problem for the reporting party to switch it back.
12:59 p.m. - Older chihuahua or terrier-type dog with no collar running loose. Last seen heading in the direction of the Cumberland Farms gas station. Referred to Animal Control Officer.
6:02 p.m. - Female party into station to report a scam through the computer. She advises have they her name and address along with bank info. Reporting party already went to her bank and was advised to monitor her credit.
3:46 p.m. - Caller from Holtshire Road does not want a response but wanted it noted that he called because a man swerved to try and hit him while walking the dog. Services rendered.
4:34 p.m. - Reporting party called to advise she was involved in minor motor vehicle accident on South Main Street. She rear-ended the vehicle in front of her. No damage to her vehicle, minor damage to the rear bumper of the car she hit, information was exchanged. Reporting party wanted it on record for insurance purposes.
2:50 p.m. - Call into the station of thick black smoke in the area of South Main and West River Streets. Homeowner was found to be burning a mattress. Orange Fire Department issued a citation.
4:48p.m. - Reporting party from Stone Valley Road reported kids on motor bikes going up and down the street at a high rate of speed. Spoke to adults and advised them to review age requirements and that dirt bikes need to be properly registered if on a public way.
10:30 a.m. - Caller from North Main Street reporting downstairs neighbor is harassing the crew putting in a wheelchair ramp. On arrival the foreman advised that the male party had just left and he was able to calm him down beforehand. The foreman stated that he was hired to install a ramp for the reporting party who will be returning home in a wheelchair. The downstairs individual is claiming that he owns the property but couldn’t prove it. Peace restored.

3:36 p.m. - Caller reporting while at the stop sign male party swerved towards her car. Ongoing issue between them. Officers responded and spoke with both parties regarding their ongoing issues. Male party denied swerving at the reporting party’s vehicle and said she is harassing them. Both were advised to stay away from one another.
6 p.m. - Motor vehicle stop on Congress Street for having no license plates affixed to the exterior of the vehicle. Once the vehicle was stopped it was learned that the license plate was in the rear window. The operator was educated on the fact that the license plate needed to be affixed to the exterior of the vehicle. Verbal warning issued.
3:15 p.m. - Traffic stop on East Main Street for a vehicle not showing any inspection results. The operator was also found to be unlicensed. A licensed operator responded to the scene and the original operator was issued a citation for the violations.
4:44 p.m. - Traffic stop for an observed hit and run on East River Street. OUI investigation completed and female party taken into custody. Arrested Sarah Chisamore Blair, 49, for leaving the scene of property damage, operating under the influence of liquor, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
1:14 a.m. - Traffic stop for multiple marked lanes violations on New Athol Road and East Main Street. Operator taken out of the vehicle. Arrested Brian J. Clark, 37 for operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation and uninsured motor vehicle.
9:51 a.m. - Officer advises a parachutist just landed at Mahar’s athletic fields, appears to be okay and was being picked up.
10:11 a.m. - Caller from East Main Street reports he is the landlord and is attempting to address a leak in an apartment, but the person staying there who is not the tenant started threatening him. Caller was advised to wait for an officer outside. Officer assisted landlord in getting into the apartment to see about a possible water leak. Officers stood by without incident.
7:45 p.m. Reporting party states an orange sedan has been parked in front of the community center for a few hours. Driver claims he is practicing parking. Officers responded and the vehicle was gone on arrival. Reporting party was concerned as people that usually park in the parking lot disturb his dogs in his backyard and cause an issue. He was inquiring if people are allowed to park there. He was advised they can, but he can call if he has any concerns.
12:33 p.m. - Party calling from Shelter Street stating there are a group of people that set up tents and there is trash everywhere on her property. Units responded and found no one with tents. After clearing one male was seen going up to tents. Officers responded back and spoke with man who grabbed his belongings and some trash and went on his way. He will tell other party to remove his stuff too when he sees him.
5:41 p.m. - Reporting party would like to report she was harassed by a male subject at Walmart. Officer spoke with her over the phone about her concerns. She explained that a male party kept trying to get her phone number while she was shopping. She became uncomfortable with his advances because of how persistent he was. She had never met the party before and just wanted the incident on record in the event this becomes an ongoing issue.
6:08 p.m. - Reporting party is reporting that his checkbook is missing and he believes someone broke into his house when he was gone shopping today. He thinks they may have entered through the window he left open. Officer responded and while speaking with the reporting party, the checkbook was located in a different spot than usual. No breaking and entering occurred.
