Friday, Sept. 3

1:37 p.m. – West Main Street caller reported theft of suboxone strips after husband had friends over the previous night, but she didn’t know their names. Advised to contact her doctor.

2:11 p.m. – Report of vandalism in Chase Street area of basement door locks. Reporting party will be installing a camera to monitor any potential future issues.

2:23 p.m. – Lobby walk-in to report that the license plate on their trailer had been stolen/cut off. Report filed and plate number entered into the NCIC (National Crime Information Center).

2:42 p.m. – Officer investigated a residence in the Kelton Street area after the Post Office requested a welfare check.

5:10 p.m. – Dana Road caller requesting advice/assistance on child custody issue. Advised of options through the court as there was no existing court order on custody issue.

5:34 p.m. – Owner of Memory Lane property reported unwanted parties at the residence (they were calling from Athol and had been informed by a neighbor). Previous tenant had left items for free on the lawn. Owner granted them permission to take the items, but not to come back on the property. Residence was secured and there were not signs of attempted forced entry.

9:50 p.m. – Traffic stop at West Myrtle Street resulted in two arrests. Operator for driving with a suspended license, failure to stop for police and stop sign, excessive speeding. Also, one of the occupants was under the influence.

Saturday, Sept. 4

1:32 p.m. – Ongoing speeding complaint reported on Stone Valley Road. Officer advised subject of the complaint.

2:07 p.m. – West River Street caller reported their vehicle, which had been parked on West River Street, was struck the previous night and a note had been left. Caller will follow up with insurance company and include pictures.

2:54 p.m. – Officer checked Dana Road area after complaint of ATV’s/mini bikes/crotchrocket repeatedly driving up and down the street. All was quiet.

3:54 p.m. – East River Street caller requested assistance with ongoing harassment issues involving threatening texts. Advised of the Harassment Prevention Order process through the courts and to call police to avoid a confrontation if subject shows up at the residence.
