Sunday, May 23

11:10 a.m. — Caller reported a woman screaming at people in the Hayden Street area. Issue was over ballfield parking and parking in front of her residence. Officers mediated, and reporting party was advised to contact the selectboard about the ongoing parking issue.

7:19 p.m. — East River Street caller reported an altercation between a group of people outside the building. Argument began over adult’s children not getting along, and a freeze pop was thrown. As officers were leaving, one stayed back, and more harassment was heard through an apartment window by one of the aggressors.

7:57 p.m. — East River Street caller reported that the people she had an altercation with earlier were outside the building threatening to damage her car. Officer advised caller of court options.

8:12 p.m. — An arrest for disorderly conduct was the result of a disagreement between two males on East Main Street which included an injury to one.

Monday, May 24

1:42 a.m. — Officer attempted to stop a vehicle on West Main Street but operator fled to their residence instead of stopping. Operator/subject was taken into custody.

10:11 a.m. — Vandalism of bandstand was reported.

5:10 p.m. — Another shoplifting incident reported from East Main Street resulted in an arrest when the shoplifter fled the store and drove off towards the orange lights. Suspect was located in the parking lot and taken into custody. Vehicle was towed by Dale’s.

6:23 p.m. — South Main Street caller reported that one of the doors to the old mill looks kicked in. Door secured to the best of officer’s ability, and dispatch to leave a message for the Building Inspector.

9:27 p.m. — Main Street caller reported two cows in the middle of the road. Caller used their truck to block the road. Upon arrival, cows had left the roadway and entered the woods. Owner arrived and was going to try and locate the animals.

Tuesday, May 25

10:38 a.m. — Red Brook Lane caller reported a verbal disturbance outside, and that it happens all the time between these same two parties. Yelling could be heard in the background while call was being taken. Both involved parties were advised to stay away from each other, and court options were discussed.

10:08 p.m. — Cheney Street caller requested a party be removed because they were drunk and irritating. Officers mediated and female party decided to leave for the evening. But she returned at 12:09 a.m. Wednesday May 26 and court options were discussed.
