Orange Police Log: Dec. 15, 2020

Tuesday, Dec. 15

1:43 a.m. — Report of an active breaking and entering, Stone Valley Road. Officers responded and checked the immediate areas. Officers did not notice anything suspicious nor found any signs of breaking and entering. Officer advised reporting party to secure all the windows and contact PD if it happens again.

6:07 a.m. — Irate male party reporting his neighbors have been making noise since 4 a.m., Stone Valley Road. States residents are “crazy” and are starting fires. Caller refused to give his information. Upon arrival, spoke with the involved parties who agreed to keep the noise to a minimum and put out the small fire. FD was advised of the illegal burn.

8:48 a.m. — Received a call of a noise complaint for loud music, Congress Street. On arrival, the tenants in apartment were spoken to in regards to the complaint. The music wasn’t found to be at an unreasonable level, however the bass was turned down as it appeared it could be the issue.

10:46 a.m. — Caller reports her nephew locked himself out of his house, Oak Drive. He called her as he is cold and recovering from pneumonia. Officer responded but subject was not home.

11:24 a.m. — Party locked her keys in her vehicle, West Main Street. Access was gained by officer.

2:42 p.m. — Traffic hazard, North Main Street. Black Audi with its hazards on parked on a corner.

2:46 p.m. — Caller reports her car was entered at some point in time, Memory Lane. Today she noticed her registration had been stolen. She was advised to contact her insurance agent to get a duplicate.

3:20 p.m. — Party advises she is the landlord of residence and would like a police escort when she goes there around 4 p.m., Memory Lane. Units were tied up at a motor vehicle accident. Landlord called in and advised everything went fine.

4:01 p.m. — Report of a two-car motor vehicle accident, West Main Street.

7:08 p.m. — Party requesting a wellness check on their client, East River Street. Same advised they called him to make an appointment with him and he made some self harm statements. Officers spoke with subject who advised he is fine.

8:08 p.m. — Party believes there are people after him and they keep harassing him, East River Street. Officers responded and spoke with the reporting party. He denied calling for assistance. The reporting party appeared to be intoxicated and denied the need for any services. The proper use of 911 system was fully explained.

10:35 p.m. — Due to a past drug possession incident, a summons complaint will be requested, East River Street.
