Orange Senior Citizens Club meeting Thursday

ORANGE — The Orange Senior Citizens Club is set to meet, weather permitting, at the Orange Senior Center at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

This is a regular monthly business meeting. All members are invited to attend, as well as guests and prospective members. Any local resident age 50 or older is eligible to become a member. Dues are $5 per year.

Thursday’s agenda includes reviewing minutes of the Dec. 1, 2022 meeting as well as the treasurer’s report and reports from the Fair Committee, Program Committee and Trip Committee.

Club compiling recipe booklet

Any member who provided a recipe for the Orange Senior Citizens Club recipe booklet may receive a copy of that booklet. However, some members brought recipes to the December meeting after the booklet had been compiled. Tracy Gaudet has agreed to take more recipes at this meeting to add to the booklet. Any member who took a booklet in December may bring that booklet back to the February meeting and return it to the Council on Aging office.

Gaudet and her staff will print the new recipes, insert them into the Orange Senior Citizens Club recipe booklet and return the booklets to the club secretary in time for the March meeting.
