Myra (Keddy) Hardaker,89, of West St. passed away on Tuesday, October 30,2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Barre the daughter of Charles and Geraldine (Spokesfield) Keddy. Myra was predeceased by her husband of 45 years Russell J.Hardaker; her siblings Charles Keddy,Jr., Ethel "Dolly" Barnes and Albert Keddy. She leaves 3 sons John R. And David R. of Barre, Timothy of Hubbardston; a daughter Cynthia J. Hardaker of Monroe,LA; 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.Myra was a school bus driver for NCC Bus Co.of Barre and also worked at L&J Screen Printing Co. in Worcester. Myra was active in the choir at her church, the Petersham Orthodox Congregational church, and assisted with many church suppers. She served on the Barre Board of Health for 9 years, was an active leader in 4-H, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, member of Barre Post 2 ladies auxiliary. A Memorial Service for Myra will be held on Friday,November 9,2018 at 10:00AM in the Petersham Orthodox Congregational church Main St. in Petersham.Burial will be in Kendall Plains Cemetery in Barre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Petersham Orthodox Congregational church 21 N.Main St. Petersham, MA. 01366. Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Rd. Barre is directing arrangements.
