ORANGE — The state Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced the Route 2 westbound Exit 71 off-ramp will be closed for reconstruction for three weeks starting Monday, Nov. 1.

Westbound motorists looking to exit Route 2 will be detoured to Exit 70, approximately 1 mile down the road, according to a MassDOT press release. The eastbound and westbound on-ramp will remain open.

Work is expected to continue through Friday, Nov. 19.
