WORCESTER — The Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra continues its Bank of America Summer Concert Series on Sunday, July 8, at 7 p.m. at the Levenson Concert Stage in Worcester’s Institute Park on Salisbury Street.

“Salute to Disney” is part of the 68th season of free summer concerts performed by the orchestra. Conductor Myron Romanul will lead the ensemble, and singers Taylor Lawton and Elisabeth Gondek will perform with the orchestra as vocal soloists.

Works to be performed at the concert include selections from Disney blockbusters “Frozen,” “Planes,” and “Brave,” in addition to music from other well-known Pixar/Disney releases, including “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Pocahontas” and “Aladdin.”

Conductor Myron Romanul was the original pianist of the New England Conservatory Ragtime Ensemble, with whom he is featured on the Grammy award-winning Angel-EMI recording Scott Joplin: “The Red Black Book.” He is currently first kapellmeister of the State Theatre in Munich, Germany, and for years was touring pianist with Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra.

Gondek holds a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Anna Maria College, and is a frequent singer at the College of the Holy Cross. She has been on the faculty at the Joy of Music since 2007, and currently teaches music at Bancroft School.
