The Mahar Regional softball team announced its season award winners on Friday.
Leading the way was MVP Skylar Dodge.
Dodge’s power stroke was on display all season for the Senators with 11 home runs and 34 RBI.
Dodge added 28 hits and 18 walks all while batting .509 during her junior campaign.
For her career Dodge has 23 homers, 88 RBI and 92 hits for her career with Mahar.
The respect Dodge has from opposing teams was on full display in Mahar’s season finale against Hopkins Academy.
Dodge walked four times, seeing nothing in the strike zone.
The coach’s awards went to Jordyn Berry and Megan Rich.
Berry patrolled center field efficiently all season for Mahar.
Berry hit .340 in her senior season with a couple dingers and nine RBI.
Rich improved in the circle for the Senators and played some shortstop when needed.
Both Dodge and Rich will be back next season.
