Todd Damon: Behavior that drives away from the left

Who are the MAGA merchants in Greenfield? With the election just weeks away, the list makers are working overtime on social media.

The stated objective was to boycott and cancel the businesses in town who support the former president. The good news is that this is a relatively small number of residents who haven’t yet learned how to live and work together in a community with differing viewpoints.

One such participant went as far as to photograph properties in their neighborhood with Trump signs, then post them to social media. Fortunately, they were quickly removed. This is the type of behavior that drives common-sense Democrats and independents away from the left.

In a deep blue state like Massachusetts, the shift is on. Trump twice received more than a million votes here. We will probably never be red again. However, purple is pretty.
