ATHOL — The public is invited to explore the Athol Public Library’s Monarch Way Station and butterfly gardens, learn how to tag and determine the sex of Monarch butterflies, what to plant to attract caterpillars and butterflies, their life cycle, importance, value, and the ways we can help them survive.

This talk and activity will be led by local science educator Paul McNiff on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 6 p.m. in the program room and butterfly gardens.
